We’ll all be disappointed sooner or later.

Both Johnson and Patel outright lying again about terrorism now but their supporters won’t care.

Aren't Labour planning massive changes to everything? This is what happens when you have the two extremes in the ascendency and little middle ground...

Thing is Watford we will probably not agree much on politics because I am older and TBH when I was as young, I was as radical as you. :emoticon-0105-wink:
But the last thing this country would want is a Corbyn government. When it comes to it people will realise that voting for Corbyn will be a disaster.

They know they have lost so it’s the fanatics last stand to flood social media with fear about the Tories. Too little too late. We have made our minds up.

I think you’re right albeit not for the same reason. I have no doubt enough lemmings will have bought into the anti-Corbyn propaganda and vote in the most right wing government in any of our lifetimes. It’s only the genuinely nasty Tories like Patel and the careerist chancers like Big Brave Saj and Hancock left now. There will be no need to pretend to be a broad church when this lot get five years to tear the constitution up.

I’d liked to have seen a real left wing government have a chance. It’s unlikely to be any more suicidal to the economy than Boris’ 2020 Brexit crusade and might have improved some people’s lives. Guess we’ll never know.

I find it funny how peoples views have changed?
A few weeks ago JRM, Raab and co were public enemy No1.
Now it’s Patel, Jav and Hancock?
That tells me that it’s just an anti Tory stance and a realisation that they will be back in power soon.
Patel is tough, I agree but we need tough people in tough times.
I think Bojo will surprise a lot of people when elected.

It tells you that they’ve put the likes of JRM in his box until December 13th so he can’t say something as stupid as he did about Grenfell and cost the party a point or two. They’re wheeling out Hancock all the time now and he comes across terribly. Patel, to her credit, isn’t pretending to be right wing like Hancock and Big Saj. She’s always been quite proudly a nasty lying **** and got sacked in the past for it. Raab is presumably at home avoiding calls from the parents of the kid whose killer was allowed to go back to the US and praying he clings onto his seat. Big Brave Saj will be googling skin whitening kits.

Boris has surprised literally no one so far and nothing in his past suggests he has the brains or work ethic required.

Swedish Schoolkids Tasked With Defending Greta From Critics as Eco-Activist Becomes Part of ‘Religious’ Curriculum

Greta Thunberg is being taught to Swedish children as part of a course about “religious knowledge,” with kids being asked to mock her opponents.
News outlet Samhällsnytt reported that the 16-year-old climate activist is now included in the school curriculum and is being portrayed in an overtly sympathetic light, with the course describing her as an “alarm clock” that “allows us to discuss, talk, and reflect on what is happening to our world.”
According to one student, “Greta is practically painted as a saint.”
Students are tasked with making memes about Greta that mock her opponents and disprove criticism that has been leveled at her.
“In one task, they are asked to find a picture to illustrate the sentence “One simply doesn’t mess with Greta,” a nod to an outdated Boromir meme from “Lord of the Rings,” reports Sputnik.
According to education publisher Liber, including Greta in lessons is “important to constantly offer materials and teaching materials that reflect the contemporary.”
To the left, Greta has been exalted as some kind of religious figure but given her recent ominous appearance on a looming mural in San Francisco, others view her as a cult leader.
Churches in Sweden are now ringing bells in her honor, while last year the Church of Sweden proclaimed Greta to be “Jesus’s Successor.”
Last month, another mural of Thunberg was defaced in Edmonton, Alberta, with the vandal telling Greta to stop lecturing him on how to live his life.
As I document in the video below, Greta is just another massive hypocrite being used to push an alarmist, hysterical global warming narrative that has been disproved time and time again.
