Cleared out the living room (why I still have so many box set DVD's is a mystery) in readiness for decorating this weekend. Hopefully it shouldn't take long as two of the walls don't need much painting (one is open plan into the dining room, the other is bi-fold doors into the front room) but Mrs Grove is insisting on a feature wall so not as quick as I'd have wanted. Can't find a wallpaper she liked so it will get painted instead. Grove Junior (senior) is getting her room redecorated for Christmas so I will be up to my elbows in wallpaper paste again soon. Local Christmas lights get switched on tonight, party afterwards and in amongst it all this weekend I shall be knocking out the first batch of my now legendary mince pies. Orders aplenty already.
