Probably due to Xmas being around the corner, many people just don't have spare money at this time of the year, coupled with the weather of late doesn't help.
Totally agree, but I would add that in every interview he does he says how much he loves being at this club and wants to go up with us, also that he’d love to win the golden boot. It could just be speel for the interview and to be truthful you can never tell exactly what is going on behind the scenes but I have a good feeling about it. The prem teams in trouble in January will want him to try and keep them up so would he swop a possible promotion for a relegation battle? Alternatively a top team will almost definitely loan him back and watch him in next years pre season. I think he is a very level headed lad, in his contract negotiations last time he just signed straight away saying how much he was looking forward to playing here, unlike others that seem to drag it out. It’s all if, buts and maybes but I’m airing on the side of positivity TC....
Moss isn't that old....Is he? This was the 1-1 when Chester was sent off early doors. Jelavic scored for us and we were holding on easily. Then 'his grans from Hull', whelled a clearance against their bloke, the ball took a huge deflection, but blind man Moss didn't see it and gave them a throw-in from which they scored.
Anyway don't worry about the crowds going up they are bound to with the increased amount of scouts watching Bowen. UTT
Probably quite a number of closet Liverpool fans wanting to watch the Champions League game on TV also.
They may well appeal that as it just brushed him on the way past, rather than him making an attempt to touch the ball.
As far as I'm aware, you can't appeal their decision. Even when, as in this case, it's quite obviously wrong and seems to ignore their own rules... "As a rule, if the initial attempt is goalbound it is credited to the player making the goal attempt. However if the deflection means that a wayward effort results in a goal then it is attributed to the player who had the last definitive touch of the ball."
You have to give credit to Tom Eaves. His goalscoring record this season: 1. A marvellous twisting header from 15 yards. 2. A rebound that struck his shins and tripped him up. 3. A piledriver that clipped him as he tried to get out of the way. Predator!
I have not seen the replays from every angle and not one from behind the goal but it was right in the corner so could it have struck the post without the small deflection?
