You have it the wrong way round. Educated people call it French toast, only scum call it eggy bread.

Funnily enough I made French toast last night using tiger bread with added garlic and Mozzarella and parmesan cheese. It was very tasty.

I tend to eat sparsely on Christmas morning, pick at a few nibbles during the day (cashews, Kwality Street etc) to leave room for the humongous dinner cooked by yours truly.

I might start a Christmas dinner thread at the appropriate time i.e. NOT IN F.UCKING NOVEMBER!!!

I think you'll find this is the place for all things Christmas.

    Thank you.

Blimey! Do you have any room left for your Christmas dinner?

I normally make do with a couple of biscuits and ten cups of coffee.

    Yeah, PR.

Christmas day is about eating as much as you can so get up, do the scotch breakfast then chocolates, soup, prawn cocktail, then turkey and ALL the trimmings.

Love Christmas - got 15 coming to ours so far, couple of years ago, we had 24 for dinner. Great at the time but clearing up the aftermath is a solid 8 hour shift for Julie and I though sometimes I get a free pass if there's football on at Ibrox <cool>

I hate ****s that don't use Lea & Perrins to make the Marie Rose sauce for the prawn cocktail. I would tend to use salad cream as opposed to mayonnaise also. So, tomato sauce, salad cream and Lea & Perrins, with some lemon juice if required.

Mayonnaise, tomato puree, dash of L&P, salt n pepa, squeeze of lemon juice. Kingsize prawns in the sauce and f.uck off big mutant jumbo prawns on the top. Served on iceberg lettuce with fresh bread and a wedge of lemon. I stopped doing the prawn cocktail a few years ago as we were too stuffed to manage the dinner!

Been ages since I've had a decent prawn cocktail, might have to pop to Sainsbury's on the way home and get the makings.

Oooeer, I nearly forgot. Have you ever had a prawn cocktail with the sauce warmed up? Had it at a restaurant ages ago and it freaked me out.
