I can't see why they're sticking with Grigg. He's never done it all the time he's been here.

 

We're still in the top-half mate, chin up. The regime, players and manager got us to this point. If we drop into the bottom half it will definitely be your fault though.

 

You must not allow yourself to be numbed by getting beat at home against Burton Albion, you must be wildly, maniacally enthusiastic, that is how we will win games. The Manager and the players are an irrelevance.

 

We were winning quite a lot until mid October. It's only been November since it's been looking really bleak.

We were talking about footy of course, I said to him ‘we’ve got Burton home tonight and I’ve no faith at all we can win it’.

He said ‘wow, that bad?’.

It brings it home lads. I expected us to fail to win at home to Burton.

Think about that in real terms. It’s lower than we could ever have imagined right now.

 

how long does he have to play before he gets better service? pumping constant long balls up to a striker that’s not very tall and doesn’t score many with his head is hardly Gona work is it?

Well that was ****ing horrific. Keeper was awful, his confidence looked shot to bits and his distribution was pathetic, Hume cant judge the flight of a ball to save his life, Lynch was awful, Leadbitter and Power were atrocious, I forgot mcgeady was playing second half. Only ones to come out with any credit were Willis and onein. Another game where onein gets shifted to RB because mcglaughin is a pile of ****e despite him winning the penalty. Maguire was a waste of space when he came on as well

No way should this bloke be manager of our club, out of his depth by a million miles. Very sad to see that tonight.

Ive always, always took pride in the fact that I’d support us no matter what. I’ve got involved in Sunderland till I die many a time when we’ve been getting a pasting.

I had nowt to give there. I won’t whistle and boo, I’ll keep any negativity I have for forums and conversations.

I feel like I ran out of juice to support tonight. When I say numb, I mean numb. I drove home in silence. Not even tunes on.

 

It's starting to drive me a bit nuts. It's not so much him I've got a problem with because I feel he tries but it's not working, never has and I'm getting frustrated with Parkinson (and Ross before) for repeatedly picking him. Especially with Kimpioka scoring last game.

****s sake he's probably **** too but at least give him a chance to show us what he can do. Not long to January fortunately.

Acting like a league one club, becoming a league one club. We've squandered 2 years where we should have had a great manager who would instil some momentum and aura into the club (two opportunities to appoint someone like this), we should have bought players from either our rivals or the bottom of the league above. We were a great bet for any player who wants to play at a higher level.

Instead, we are slowly becoming our owner's beloved Oxford Utd, his only reference point he can look to for inspiration at this level.

If all we can manage is long balls at least Kimpioka's got some pace to get on the end of them. Ideally we'd be playing sexy football and getting loads of service to our strikers but if we can't do that shouldn't we try to work with what we've got?

Seeing as you're sticking up for Grigg can you tell me what it is he's doing well that justifies his place in the team.

Same here, we have been battered into a stupor by the unbelievably bad football we pay good money to watch. Perhaps if we closed the lower bowl and played in front of an empty stadium those poor snowflake players might be able to play. Parkinson: P.10 W.2 D.2 L.6.

kimpioka is ****e mate he’s literally a headless chicken..
I’m sticking up for Grigg because I’m actually watching the game and seeing that he’s putting just as much effort into his game as the hero O’Nien is.. yet he’s getting zero service and all the blame because he’s not scoring goals.
Strikers need chances to score mate and he gets one maybe two half chances every other game a striker on top form needs more then that.

 

Banned again for saying "Oops we have ran into some problems" in response to genuine posts about ownership and direction of the club. Joke over there at the minute.

 

What I wouldn’t give for a Bally. Some heart and soul.

O’Nien can run around all he likes but he’s just an average league one player with a good attitude, and he wasn’t there tonight either.
