I think I've just witnessed a daylight robbery ! How the Hell did we not win that game ?

Gills were so dominant, it was almost embarrassing - EXCEPT - we couldn't score. Hanlan worked so hard - I would say that he deserved a goal - but- he had two golden chances - but lost his head and blazed his shots. Mandron performed an 'air shot' from about 5 yards - when it was probably easier to score.

Gills will play about a quarter as well as they did today - and win !------ but -- we need to find a natural goalscorer.

ps - don't get me started on the appalling referee - AFC Wimbledon need to put him on their payroll ( if he isn't on it already )

Saw many of the highlights throughout the game today, and felt myself we were robbed, but I suppose that's what happens when you don't have a natural goal scorer - the irony of that being Dack slotted in two today in their 3-2 home win.

Hanlan had chance after chance, and without sounding critical he was just not clinical enough in his finishing. I probably counted one good shot that was worthy of going into the top right hand corner, but other than, the movment but no final touch.

He's certainly one of my favourite players alongside Tucker. It was good to see Jakubiak resigned to the bench, but however, never improved our luck on the pitch.

It's clear we are going to need someone new up front in the next window, who that should or could be, over to you guys. That should have been three points today and I think Mr Scally is going need to splash a little bit of cash, that might just be rewarded if we can pick up the right person - just don't tell pegleg I said that!

ps. and I never even mentioned the ref! oops.

The FA in my opinion really needs to need look at the standards of refereeing as time and time again so many wrong decisions are made. Of course humans are prone to making mistakes but the consistently high amount in every match I personally think is not acceptable. I've heard from numerous sources that we were denied two clear cut penalties on Saturday and Pringle was wrongly sent off. The quality of the referee last Tuesday for the Sunderland replay game was also diabolical, but it only ever seems that the FA is above anything possibly ever being incorrect.

The system needs to change. If Premier League referees can't get decisions right with a video assistant, then what hope have we got as a League One side that doesn't have access to these technological advances?

From the clips I saw, not sure it's the same two penalty claims, but I didn't think they were. The first was just hopeful, the second was supposedly pulled or pushed to the ground by his marker - it just amazes me how easy grown men go over these days, feather touch and fall like a rock. I know it's the gamemanship of modern football, but as much has I love the Gills, I wouldn't have given either, and I didn't see appeals for them either by players...maybe it's a different two.
