There obviously wasn’t much goalmouth action, it was like a game of chess, I can understand why some wouldn’t enjoy it and the ref didn’t help as he didn’t allow it to flow.
I didn’t enjoy the Cardiff game , I thought that was rubbish , except the result of course. Like you said funny old game.

Crap first half, better second half for me.

Ashley Williams is fast becoming the best signing. He seems surrounded by players getting injured and yet he’s the oldest player on the pitch.

Funny thing I thought we looked more likely to score against 11 than 10, probably because they shut up shop.

Ashton's right when we need to create first before blaming strikers.
However, interesting the money LJ has spent on strikers so far - zillions.

Engvall, Dionny,Fammy,Weiman and Djuric - have I missed any ?
Hardly inspiring although to be fair Afobe looked decent.

What about this then - might Fammy be a better CH than CF ?
Noticed from my armchair that he seems to win far more defensive headers than he ever does up top (I know it's easier to defend than the other end).
Yesterday's clearance off the line was typical of a natural defender to go back on the goal line.
Just a thought, you guys watch a lot more than I do.

I thought we looked well on top until LJ made the changes and went to a back four. KP hardly touched it after coming on and Rodri really doesn't impact on games either.

Us old'uns have had time to get wise! and don't do rash things how many peeps out there over 75 clamber over mountains and do things like crawl around confined spaces in the underworld! Not football I know but extremely energetic and a need for "nimbleness"

I will disagree with one player in your list. Weimann, so underated by many in my opinion just because he doesn't get 20+ goals a season, a class player with an eye for a pass, energy and movement makes him valuable to our team, when used correctly of course

Yet another home draw which is becoming the norm.

The teams now going for it are winning ugly and also getting it spot on right at the end of games, and they are starting to open up a bit of a gap.

Leeds and WBA both did themselves the world of good by getting winners in their matches very late on, while we drew another blank. Leeds also did what we couldn't into the bargain and beat Luton at Kenilworth Road.
