The word ‘maybe’ instantly removes ‘contradiction’ in my grasp of the language <laugh>

We're stuck with what we have until January, at least PP seems to be trying to change things in the hope of getting something to work.

I was stood centre South Stand. Leadbiter collected a ball on the centre spot straight ahead of me. There was no one anywhere near him.and there was a free run to goal, unbelievably he turned and passed back and right. Has he been told to do this type of thing?

Their goal stemmed from him fannying about and giving the ball away. Unless him and MacGeady start picking up they are two players I would be moving on, saying that they have a few goals between them.

Strange but it goes hand in hand with the no forward attack approach
    We are suffering

For all we know, we may already have pre-contracts signed with targets who can come in on day 1 and turn our fortunes round. Sorry - I'll get me coat.

I don't think Parkinson had a lot of choice with his lineup today, I don't see the point of persisting with McGeady and Maguire instead of Watmore but apart from that there wasn't much I'd have changed.

Gooch will be back soon and Kimpioka will obviously have caught the managers eye so I'd expect him to give him a shot on Tuesday. We all know how raw he is but Grigg can feck off I've had enough of him.

I haven't a clue about fair play, but surely there are one or two free agents who'd be happy to have a pay per play contract.

We remain so slow in the middle of the park and play sideways and backwards all of the time , in the first half the much maligned Will Grigg was in lots of space with a straightforward ball easy to play to him , Leadbitter again passed the ball sideways . We lack creative players to get to the byline and can actually cross the ball , poor Will isolated again with minimal support but fair play to him he battled a lot better than in previous games . Max Power playing in a more advanced role was exactly the same as Leadbitter sideways and backwards , by the time we get the ball in to the final third the opposition are set up and we seldom find a way through .

Leadbitter is at best someone you bring on with 10 maybe 15 minutes to go. His use by date was 5 or 6 years ago ( and that is being charitable ).
I've never got the fuss about maguire. Clearly he has technique but he lacks focus/concentration and the ability to pick himself up when things are not going his way. He seems a player that isnt much chop when the going gets tough. The moniker 'King' is absolutely laughable. He needs peddling.
What a disaster grigg, wyke and macnulty have been. Either sick or cant be ar5ed.
Not helped by the eye bleeding service provided by the pedestrian, non creative midfields both ross and now PP are so fond of.
I just dont see other than the play offs for our promotion hopes.
I realise some will say that you cant apportion blame on the owners. Sorry that is a large crock. They hired ross. Against widespread opinion they hired parkinson. They have allowed Hill far too much power in football operations. The owners can undo these woeful massive errors of judgement. They wont.
Until donald inevitably proves he cant pay back the loan we are stuck in this football quicksand.

You must really hate Short seeing as he's the one who guided us to league one thanks to his decisions? You wouldn't want to look like a hypocrite right Bri?

Dobson, McGeouch, Power and Leadbitter are all largely cut from the same cloth. None of them have any pace, creativity or goals in them. Power probably is the best goals wise and he only gets 1 every 10 matches or so.

Neither Leadbitter nor Dobson offer anything different to what we already had.

Genuinely don't see the logic of spending what little cash we had in the Summer on Dobson who for the most part seems to jog around like a headless chicken. A career average of a goal every 40 games when we signed him. What moron thought he'd be the answer to our prayers ffs.

His attitude yesterday stunk when he gave the ball away with some piss poor passes then jogged back behind the play.

Our only hope with Leadbitter is that he decides to retire.

Is this a thread about the ability(lack of) of our midfield 3 and how it can stifle us, or, is it just a dig at Parkinson and Methven?

RTG is for threads like that, if Prehab hasn’t already beaten you to it.
