Don’t take it to heart mate I would of left before Coventry scored life’s to short to waste it on that s hite
We're alleged to be looking to sign 5 new players in January. That's half an outfield team and obviously needed. 5 players are enough to change the entire mentality of a team and we need characters with desire. We need to keep in contention and hope the right players arrive.
What baffles me mate is most of these players have never and will never play for a club as big as this with a loyal fan base ( me excluded ) like this you would think they would be busting a gut to do well but when these new players come in they will probably be never heard of again what does that tell you about them?
I hope we are looking to offload Maguire, McGeady Leadbitter McGouch and Grigg, change this lot with decent players and we will go up this season, if they are still here we have little chance.
Let's hope that they arrive in early January. Meanwhile hope for rapid improvement in injury situation
Impressed with Kimpy's goal...did the right thing in there....just got to get it on target. Hopefully this lad can give us a bounce now like a certain Robert Kerr did in the late 60's early 70's till some tw*t from Leeds broke his leg. Just got to move on from Grigg....to me he still resembles the past that we so desperately need to move on from...a signing that has turned out to be sh*t.....we paid way over the odds....major attitude problem...I wonder why so much we are in League One
Personally don't think McGeady's a problem but on the other hand I'm happy to change anyone if we replace them with (much)better.
Hes a problem for me out wide, he holds onto the ball too much, slows down attacks and does not help out his full back.very talented yes, but out of place in this team.
Can't argue with any of that but he's always capable of weighing in with a goal. Mainly suppose I feel we could find five positions in greater need of improvement but if we swapped him for better I'd be happy
Well that was awful...it was wet, problems on A19.. Coventry were poor but we were worse..we were very very lucky to get a draw. Adding to the 120mins on Tuesday it was 34 mins today before we had a shot on target. Grigg was poor ( he is slow, also slow to react, does not jump very high and does not like to head the ball) in the 1st half he was one on one with the keeper and did not score (as it happened he was offside, blushes saved). Maguire when he is good he is very very good, but when he is bad, he is horrid...his form lately is way off. As for McGeady....sorry he is a liability... should not start. We were very lucky not to lose today... I doubt we can bring anybody in until we offload say Grigg and Mcgeady and that with wages will be difficult. We need a striker urgently...two probably! Now can I subject myself to more punishment on Tuesday night O and Leadbitter (love the lad)... but his legs have gone should not be the pitch
I'll eat my hat if we sign 5 adequate players. Mind Im not exactly renowned for being right.!! But its a ****ing big ask under the circumstances we find ourselves in
We all have differing views. Here's my take on today. Grigg is a waste of a good skin. Why do managers pick him? Have they been ordered to by SD?. Benji as raw as he is has done more in 10 mins than Grigg has in about 20 effing games. I hate knocking Grigg cos I would love him to succeed but it isnt going to happen. McGeady & McGuire extremely poor again today. Are they actually trying. Why was Lleadbitter picked? Personally thought only Hume n O9 tried today. Dunc n Benji made a difference. And as much as I bear a grudge and want Coventry to go out of business I apologised to four of their supporters outside the ground for taking 2 points off them. Summing up we were f*cking w*nk.
I don't think I've ever failed to laugh at someone falling on their backside but when it's Monty it's a bit special. The only time it's not funny is when it happens to me.
