We played a good game. We're still very much a work in progress. And most importantly imo we're progressing. I have no doubt Warburton will find and fit the missing pieces during 2020.

    Onwards and upwards, you R's!

An experienced centre half who can marshall the defence and get us defending as a unit is needed...…..Kelly has to be given a run of games in goal as Lumley looks like he's lost all confidence since that kick in the face at Villa......Amos looked a real player able to take the ball on the turn and move forward rather than backwards and sideways...….

We missed Barbet for his passing ability and a bit of pace...…...Have to say we should have been 2 or 3 up before they got a foothold in the game, classic case of getting punished by not taking your chances...….

Overall we're not a bad side. it's just individual cock ups that are costing us and that is the annoying thing.....

On to Forest during the week.....

For a neutral, it was a very entertaining match. The commentators loved it.Their summary was that we could have won it and somehow - we lost.

We should have led by at least 3 goals by half time, but it was 1-1, and we let them into the match in the 2nd half.

It was again a case of missed chances and giving the ball away to concede easy goals.

Despite the result, I wish you a good Weekend. Cheers!

20 goals we have let in during 10 games. I think Warburton can move us forward given time. Just saw his interview and talking about taking chances. He is right but more important we need to sort the defence out big time.

Really trying (and failing) to be measured here but we need a goalie!

It's all very well to be a work in progress but how much better will Lumley or Kelly actually get? With hard work and training, 5%. Maybe 10%. That's still not good enough. Oh to have Alex Smithies inbetween the sticks again!

Hope I'm not being too negative after a disappointing loss and it is clear they've been ordered to play from the back but it cost us a point tonight.

Do give me a slap if I'm being too hard on the lad.

Just got in and watched 15 minutes of highlights.... another lose and once again nightmare defence and goalkeeping. Don’t really need or want to comment. We need to win again though.

Kelly wasn't even on the bench again so assume he's still injured or I'll, it was a bit unclear but I don't think he was dropped, he'd just had his best game for us.

It's so frustrating we do seem to be punished for these cock ups every time.

    Yeah he’s injured.

Think more than anything we miss Barbet. We weren’t quite so awful with him back there though Wallace seems relatively competent too.

    I feel your pain.
We need a goalie in January (but probably won't get one).

Just hope our team's WAG's don't put clean sheets on their beds. The players won't know what the **** they are.

Emotional my response is that it must be so but then we'd be nearer the bottom if they were the absolute worst? I suppose they are saved by the strikers.

Indeed. Read a good post either on here or LFW comparing the money spent on our respective teams. We’ve got a freebie from Rotherham and a mish-mash of other rejects and loans punching above their weight. Hugely frustrating to lose such cheap goals again against such a noncey club but plenty to be positive about.
