Apparently there was a supporters' meeting with CM, PP and KB last night.
I've tried reading the thread on RTG but it's all so negative and angry that I stopped.
Was anybody there? Any summary or sensible comments comments available?

The place is out of control tbh.

I'm travelling but will ask a mate who was there later, he sent a quick message to say he came out feeling better.

The main thing was that targets are already being lined up for January, McGeady knows he has to be more of a team player and Grigg is committed to the club.

    See you later ....

Someone who was there was providing updates on Twitter. I can't remember the precise details but apparently people were getting a bit angry with Methven but he dealt with it well and everything that Parkinson had to say was very sensible.

I picture PP sat there in a pair or cord trousers, old polished brogues, and a nice cardigan, smoking a pipe and drinking a cup of tea.

    Thanks for that mate.

Some interesting bits in there. Pleased PP has stated that we need much more pace and power in the team, and that we need to get more crosses into the box. I would add that the quality of crosses need to be better, and delivered earlier.

Also, PP acknowledges that we don't currently have anyone who get in behind defences, when we are being pressed. Sounded like he's looking to bring someone in who can do this.

Encouraging news about team strengthening in January. Lets hope we can get the identified targets in, and early in the window.

    Time to walk the walk.

Pal who was there says PP handled himself very well and seemed focused and clear on what we need.

Said he feels a lot more positive about him after it and as such I’m gonna take some of that to the SOL tomorrow.

I think we are rock bottom right now, but we are still ****ing here and we are still swinging and missing.

I’d have love to have went as I’m really struggling to form any opinion on the gaffer.

He seems to be trying to attack more than Ross but has somehow lost potency doing it, which is absolutely bewildering.

Apparently, and credit to him for it, Methven didn’t duck a thing. Fair play to him on that.

Good point about the players who will soon be out of contract not needing to be accounted for in the wage budget. Gives us a better chance to get some decent players in.

I appreciate those who went and took it on themselves to give feedback to those who couldn't. The RTG dissidents probably make no effort to attend any meetings and, possibly the SOL.

When I started reading RTG there were 17 pages. I got up to page 5 and there had been roughly one post that was informative.
The rest were shouting abuse at the manager and owners.
    The place is a cesspit.

It isn't funny at all (funny peculiar, you obviously mean as opposed to funny ha ha) bearing in mind the fact that 'Brainman' (the O.P.) mentioned RTG as his initial source right at the start, and it's obviously available via Twatter, as mentioned later (which is probably where whoever it is on RTG got it from) :emoticon-0105-wink:

What is funny (peculiar) is you trying to call someone a fraud, though :emoticon-0112-wonde

I lurked, but didn't post on RTG, for the very reason you highlight above. Had to troll through too much **** to get to the good post. It was excellent at one time, but has descended rapidly.
However, I am thankful to RTG for one thing..... it provided a link to this site on the Takeover thread.
    Love this place!

People have a right to get angry with him. Aslong as it isn't in an aggressive nature i would hope fans let loose and hold no punches in questioning him.

Far to many times have people sucked up and believed the crap these people speak. The likes of Bob stokoes hat and iceman that would attend these events would come on posting so much drivel that never EVER came to fruition. People need to remember the hierarchy are never going to paint stuff in a bad picture. Questions must asked and they must be answered despite you not wanting to hear those negative answers.

Agreed, they really need to be held to account for the things they say at these meetings. We know how that Parkinson wants pace and strength bringing in (which we all knew for ages was needed), Methven was sat there. So if it doesn't happen and we don't get stronger in January, questions need to be asked. Glad we're back to the league tomorrow mind, sick of these cup games
