Although SH is not bothered about having someone who is not trustworthy as a PM, what I have heard over the past few days suggests that women take a different view. Men who go around fathering children, then walking out do not go down well with ladies, especially if it has happened to them.

Funny, this is not reflected in BoJo's rising popularity, have you found one of your strange bread queues in rural Bucks?

Corbyn must be really really naughty to be so unpopular :emoticon-0102-bigsm

You should get out more instead of waiting for the polls. Have you been out on the streets yet to rally support for the Tories? I don't think you would like what some people in English pubs are saying.

Same old Labour, proposing to borrow mountains of cash to splurge on the state, ruin businesses, deter investment and devalue pension pots. No wonder the Institute for Fiscal studies has warned the colossal amount is "simply not credible". It would create the biggest tax burden since WW11.

Hopefully enough voters will remember Labour's incompetence from previous stints.

Most of rural England is solid Conservative so no extra support needed, you must be visiting some rough old pubs. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I wonder why Johnson has pulled out of another TV debate? Is he worried that someone will ask him how many children he has, or why he is suppressing the report on Russian interference in the politics of the country.

You might have to wait for January for the free Brexit celebratory drink anyway. :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Have you not received info yet SH as to what line to use on Johnson pulling out of another debate? Surely if Corbyn is that bad he would want to talk up why the Tory promises are so good, and get people to compare them.
I am really surprised at you not doing anything to get the message across, as clearly you must be bursting to tell the world that you can make promises, then break them at will. It sounds very attractive!

I am in Haverfordwest this week and overheard a local lambasting JC for being a Hypocryt on Brexit and generally concluding he was a complete idiot.

    Just saying.

Try debating instead of the occasional little digs. Would make a nice change <ok>

The knockabout stuff is easy, but the real debate is much harder. My daughter works for the NHS, and the hospital has just had to close a children's ward due to no staff. The hospital had a doctor and his two specialist nurse daughters working there, but have packed up on mass because of the anti EU measures. They came to England from the EU a year ago to fill some empty posts, bringing the doctor's mother with them. They have applied for leave to remain, but the mother has had her application rejected because she is a non-earner. My daughter is now the only English person in her department, and has watched as members of that unit have handed in their notice to return across the Channel. Every day she is working unpaid just to care for some of the elderly people she sees. The current government has made a total mess of the NHS, and very often it is the dedication of staff who prevent a complete collapse. Promises of extra doctors, nurses and funding have been made over the past ten years, but they have not happened. I cannot believe that people want more of this.

This is only the same as Frenchie's highly selective strange men in the bread queue. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Funny how one's imagination takes over. I have visions of SH standing in the High Street handing out election leaflets.

The whole of Hertfordshire is Conservative, all 9 constituencies. You might have more luck in Luton. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Ann Widdecombe repeats her claim that she was offered a role by the Tories if she would stand down in the election. Johnson says this is not true. One of them is lying.

This was the political map of England in 2015, I expect more blue this time.

Oh no! Bucks is all Conservative as well. You could try Northamptonshire, no, that's all Conservative too. You are obviously currently surrounded by well adjusted sensible people.
