Nice......I bet that it's got a tighter turning circle than Nemanja Matic, too

One of the best tactical games I remember seeing was when Mourinho's Chelsea beat us 0-2 at the Lane in January 2005. It was his first season, which he won at a canter.

It wasn't just that Chelsea beat us, it was the way Mourinho set his team up to beat us. It was tactical genius.

People forget that Mourhino has this in his locker. However, he needs the players to be able to execute his plan, which I think he lacked at United. It's why he played turgid football with them. He had no choice. Mourhino can be very expansive and exciting, but only from a compact position with his team in control. That requires discipline and skill.

I think he knows he has that with us, but players like Moura and Dele (and especially Aurier, if he plays him) are going to have to buckle down on their discipline and learn to play to instructions m

    Tottenham 5-3 Chelsea
    Man Utd 0-3 Tottenham

That’s more likely the Mourinho that will turn up at Spurs.

2002-2012 Mourinho was a great manager

2013 onwards he has steadily gone downhill and been left behind by the likes of Pep etc

If Jose can turn Aurier into a decent defender that’ll be a bigger accomplishment than winning the CL with Porto.
