We're civilised down here mate, we don't burn old tyres to stay warm. We just all gather around a roaring wicker man to keep our hands warm.
My turn to have my lad overnight on Christmas eve this year. He's 5 and at school now so will be much better than two years ago. Can't wait. He's already talking about writing his letter to father Christmas and he's made a card at school that we can do for my old dear n that. Might even treat myself to a nice rum this year.
I’m back home now. Lasagne has flopped down the side of the sink and has definitely seen better days. I’ll scoop it into the useless **** dog’s bowl before bed. Mrs has ****ed off to bed in a huff, good, means I don’t have to go out with her tomorrow night to a ****e party.
My daughter has got a part in her nativity play as a sheep, she's proper excited. She's been practising her lines and the songs they all have to sing. It really is a wonderful thing to see your kids getting excited about christmas, reminds me of me being excited about christmas as a kid !
i hate Christmas and I had some great news a few days ago and that was that there will be no Christmas dinner and no family gathering at all. champion
Thought you had a cheeky nandos in the car bruv ? The missus was probably saving that lasange for her breakfast.
Subway. I did. I just wanted to check on the lasagne sitch... for bants. My Mrs took ages making that
You northerners are bundle of joy eh. perhaps you and comm could get together and have a grumpy one together.
Bit different this year as my Mum will be down, my Dad having gone earlier in the year. My older brother and his wife (no kids), who live about 70 yards away from her, have decided to take the opportunity to go to the Lakes, rather than have Christmas day round the corner. He told me the plan at me Dad's funeral, I didn't tell her till September, when I realised he hadn't bothered to be gracious enough to tell her himself. This will be different! Thankfully, not actually staying at our house. There's a little studio apartment round the corner they use and she'll stay there. Anyway, we'll have loads round Christmas day, including four ****ing dogs who will just circle the house all day non stop and do my swede in. Christmas eve is best day, walk/bacon butty/coffee on beach in the morning. Will then have to pick me mam up at station and we"ll all go the pub in the evening for a meal and some booze. Back early enough to light the fire and get the kids to bed etc. The meal is about five at our house, ideal time. Proper full breakfast first thing and then main meal in the evening. First drink, I usually make it to mid day before a beer. Might have bucks fizz though with breakfast, depends in the mood. **** knows boxing day. Will make it up as we go along.
