Tottenham have sacked head coach Mauricio Pochettino after five years in charge of the Premier League club. "We were extremely reluctant to make this change and it is not a decision the Board has taken lightly, nor in haste," said Spurs chairman Daniel Levy. "Regrettably domestic results at the end of last season and beginning of this season have been extremely disappointing. Rafa to return for Spurs ?
Rafa, you having a laugh? They want someone with it, young and interesting. Or has been successful at their most recent big job at least. If they go after Jose or someone like Rafa I'll be ****ing bemused.
He's far too nice for Arsenal, and anyway, I think they're a downstep from Tottenham actually. Their fans are especially, they're ****e. I reckon Man Utd. It's exactly what he deserves, a chance to show what he can do with investment.
You appear to be ****ing bemused then.. OK if they're being ruthless, sacking Poch is just about justified but ****ing Jose? A tedious bore at Man U and moaning **** at Chelsea, is that really as high as they're aiming? This won't end well, it never does with Jose.
Not sure how it is justified? 4 years of outstanding performance with virtually the same team then one small blip and it's "**** of Poch" Just dickish behaviour if you ask me.
There does appear to be some issues behind the scenes there for the past season. Alli & Dier have fallen from England starters to struggling for form. Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Eriksen, Rose all looking to leave. Trippier already gone. Although not many signings, I'm not sure the players that have come in have improved the team. Their European run helped them last season, their only highlight this year has been the development of Winks. Although I can't see Pochettino being out of the game for long.
I said "just about" deserved, ie in 2019 their results have been poor in comparison to the previous 4 years. So if you're being very harsh you could create an argument for it being justified. Personally I think it's a bad decision and he absolutely deserved more time considering how we'll he'd done there, and especially as they're replacing him with an embarrassing stroppy ****er.
Isn't there some internal feud at Spurs where Aldereiweld has been shagging Eriksen's wife, and it's created a split in the camp? Either way I'm not sure Mourinho's your man if you want to galvanise your team....
