I was at Gillingham on Tuesday night for what might have been the worst match that I have ever witnessed, and I have watched some rubbish over the years.

1 shot on target in 120 mins must be a record, and both teams were equally inept in the last 3rd, I wish I could say that good defending played a part, and it probably is the case that both teams were better at the back, but that would paper over the fact that both were frighteningly poor in attack.

I was expecting that of The Gills to a certain extent, but I was surprised at how poor you were, having seen you at Priestfield in Aug 18 when you played some wonderful football as you swept to a thoroughly convincing 4-1 victory in a match that lived far longer in the memory than Tuesdays will.

I was at that one as well, when the Brian Moore stand was open. The difference between then and now is ridiculous...

Me too. Anyone who witnessed that game should understand that the accusations of negativity, fearfulness, and all the other rubbish, levelled at Jack Ross were well wide of the mark.
