The finishing was the difference here, we could have lost this game the way we defended, but ended up winning comfortably.
Aye, the finishing definitely set us apart. Mind I won't worry too much about the performance, it was a dead rubber and felt like it! Disappointing that some didn't really press their case for a place in the side mind, but it ended up comfortable against a decent enough side so can't complain. Really hope they qualify, sounds like they will and they'll be a welcome addition to the tournament

Always thought Loius Laing would have made it here. To let him go I can only assume he was one of the "bad lads" they let go from the academy.
Wycombe 1-2 Tranmere who played with ten from the 41st min. Wonder if that cocky centre half of Wycombe played? didn’t we beat Tranmere 5-0?
I was there tonight. Cant remember feck all about the game. Spent most of the match fighting with a nobhead of a bouncer . All fun though
Darlington unlucky tonight , they worked their socks off and left nothing on the pitch . Special mention to Stephen Thompson who ran his heart out and was a constant thorn in Walsall’s defence , Phil Parkinson should get a video of the game to show our players the effort they put in compared to SAFC at Scunthorpe and Gillingham . Chalk and cheese I would suggest !
Almiron is like Newcastle's Grigg, both overpriced and you can see there's a player in there but they're so bereft of confidence that the basics elude them completely.
