    Don't actually think this is a bad move short term, with players leaving in the summer for bumper contracts elsewhere, Levys going to be forced to put his hand in his pocket anyway, Mourinho or not.

    Mourinho gets to spend and Levy makes it look like hes backing him.

    You sign for Jose if you want massive wages. Lingard got £100k/week under Mourinho.

    You don't sign for Levy if you want massive wages. Son is on £110k/week under Levy.

    Agreed but your point seemed to be that player would get more under Jose than under Levi and Son is on more under Levi than Lingard was at man united under Jose
