It is your argument, you used when answering me on this thread. You “feel” it was not about money, yet you used the argument to excuse him leaving on this thread

Have you noticed the arsenal is the emirates? Have you noticed the Man City stadium is the etched

its what owners do, to bring in revenue

Shearer relegated you as did benitez

Now answer this under which owner in the last six months have Newcastle broken their transfer fee paid record?

you simply refuse to acknowledge, and it’s no surprise as self awareness is not and never will be in a nufc fans dna

I’ve given you enough chances but you fall back on the old chronicle sound bites, which is why despite safc being a shambles, we continue to ridicule your fan base.

I do love the odd chat with a mag who attempts to sound reasonable and sound but every now and then the usual rises it’s head.

benitez played you all, hes done the same in China, Valencia, Liverpool, Chelsea, Real Madrid and inter

that’s why you love him, because of the names in his past, which you then assume Newcastle to be comparable and play to your inner braggart and superioty

it’s hilarious. You’ve won zero domestic trophies since the 1950s. Your chance came, it was blown and you are now in your natural position in the last 100 years.

keep them coming and I’ll keep on posting reality to you

Just because Joelinton is one of the worst footballers I've ever seen in the premier league doesn't mean that old Ash isn't trying.

    £40 million <laugh>

Never spent a fortune on getting them up from the championship either. Rafa also won't have been cheap despite being bang average.

That's a good example of why Rafa got his decision right to leave. Rafa didn't want him. He's not worth a quarter of that. Why do owners think they can interfere against their manager's wishes in player recruitment? I'd be surprised to know what the real transfer fee was, ie the amount the German club got.

Lol. No he wanted rondon. Why do owners think they can interfere. Give me strength

it’s Ashley’s club. He has put in £300 million man. Rafa took out of the club to around £15 to £20 million in his back pocket

how did Rafa get a work permit and move to China with 48 hours of the news breaking?

basically he was touting himself out whilst playing you like a fiddle.

he is doing exactly the same thing now with this woe is me letter offering the services of the great Rafa

Was the highest wage bill in the Championship wasn't it a record?

Yet with actual good players not plodders or lazy bastards stealing a living.

I've no reason to dislike the FSW - in fact he's been great entertainment for us. However, I just can't understand the mags falling to the ground in front of him . He got relegated when there was time to save it - some supporters claimed it was a 'victory'; he chucked all the cup matches - when supporters groups winged because they wanted a cup run; and each year he only escaped the relegation zone in the last 8 or so matches - his whole tenure was the equivalent of the 'emperor's new clothes'.

This is it. The lad who has posted on here demonstrates all the classic blind devotion which is absolutely hilarious to read.

they only won the championship on the last day of the season when Brighton drew.

hardly a charge that was clinched weeks in advance despite all the advantages benitez was given

he then produces a team to sit deep, home and away, which stays up by a win streak in March April time.

not one single cup run of any consequence, yet Benitez is hailed as a genius who was badly done to

pardew, hughton achieved more. Bruce has started in a more successful way than benitez ever did.

its great though, I’m all for pointing out reality to them

Personally I could give a toss about him. Didn’t like his tactics or quite a few of his buys.
You’ll not believe this but most of us think the same. He never gets a mention between the fans I know.

Sorry but most people realise it was about the MONEY , reason - all he had to do was to take a short term sabbatical before another suitable job came along for the same kind of money as he got at Newcastle without the interference .

Actually Rafa did want him, but said the asking price was too much. Even if he ‘only’ cost £10-£20m, he’d still be a very poor player. The fact Rafa even looked at him says all you need to know about his ability to spot a good player. He simply buys loads in the hope one or two come good, always has and always will.

As for asking why owners believe they can interfere in the club’s activities, I could be wrong here, but I believe it’s because they own the club.

Everyone on the planet knew exactly what Ashley was like, well before Benitez took his money.

The supporters had already been protesting for years, Keegan had taken Ashley to court and every manager complained about the finances, facilities, etc.

Yet we're expected to believe Benitez naively signed up as the one man in football unaware of how Ashley operates

The relentless defence of Benitez and the continued fiction of how his vision was betrayed is absolutely ludicrous tbh.

The irony of this thread is that you lot would be fortunate to attract a manager who has more than 1% of the footballing success of Rafa Benitez.

Why is there a five page Rafa bashing thread? It can only be a diversion from reality.

    Well, enjoy.
