I’m hoping he feels he still has something to prove. He’s been out of the game for almost a year and now he has a job in London, where he lives and can be close to his family. Which is what he’s wanted for some time.

He has the basis of a good squad to work with and no doubt additions have already been discussed with Levy.

 

The best Spurs can hope for is that he gives them a winning mentality in big games.
