Incredibly interesting 5 runner novice chase at Warwick of the morrow (2.10). Lisp, Mister Fisher and Torpillo all make their fencing bows in it. Am looking forward to seeing all 3 over the big ‘uns and it looks a fascinating and potentially highly informative heat. Not a betting race but certainly one to watch with the old notebook.

goodness, Torpillo is an interesting one for chasing! If they let him have an easy lead he could do something special.

Passing Thru 33/1 ew for me in this. Look an interesting one on paper on debut. Yard don't have a very good record in bumpers but at such a big price i'll risk a couple of quid.

Its interesting even if only because they have brought it over. Not sure that Ireland actually has any junior bumpers though. The market is quite positive for it tonight.
Oddly, I fancy the Honeyball runner that is the longer price of the two.
I wont be having a bet but the most tempting one would be SINISTRY. Purely on pedigree.

Interesting Librisa Breeze stepping massively down in class back in the AW too! Still shows he has it when close second in a g2 earlier but struggled at ascot on champions day Also Flaming Spear won this last year so hopefully Mr Bloom wants to to win it again (Flaming Speak is also running)

So turns out a friend of mine is friends with the Racing Josh- and we have a group chat (altho it has expanded to about 40 people) and some reason he is joining it for an hour between 7-8 to pretty much big up his racing club but also to answer questions. Anything you guys would want to ask him??

Slow slog <laugh>. I'll take you on with Lowandbehold. An old boy but has previously prevailed in this Hexham marathon in 2017 and back to that winning mark. 9s last night and shifted down a bit but not by my fiver.

Has form over a mile in his early days and sees out 7f on soft very well so the 1m doesn’t bother me and his form on the AW reads 2111 granted he hasn’t run on it for a few years but he isnt over raced imo for a 7yo by any means and obv handles the surface would have liked to see some money for him but hopefully bloom gets his Wallet out nearer the time

Quick quiz quest. What current fave for a race at the 2020 Cheltenham Festival cost current connections just €300???

And just a general quest (no right or wrong answers, crew) why are the ‘Sporting Life’ describing the race between Altior and Cyrname at Ascot on Saturday as, and I quote, ‘mouthwatering’?!? It’s a bally ‘prep’ for both of them and neither will be anywhere near 100%. They are both running in the heat solely to bring them on re bigger targets to come! To use a Flat racing analogy its their bloomin' Greenham!
