yeah 300 quid if you get in early. I’m fascinated with this one, the lead of the group works for the RP and is really pushing this on twitter. the bit I’m most intrigued about are the racecourse ticket giveaways and the like that they’ve put on the site. They seem to be able to offer quite a lot. it does help that it’s a free lease of the horse and training fees are normally sub 24k a year so if full they’d have 6k+ to play with!
interview with him on starsports https://www.starsportsbet.co.uk/bettingpeople-josh-stacey/ i cant open it im at work
yeah I’m not getting involved as already got my horse for the season, but keeping an eye on their progress.
There is a reasonable 2YO race at Chantilly. Ralph Beckett has a runner but there would be a slight worry if she is Listed class to my eyes. Choise Of Raison is solif but a bit exposed, as are some others in the field. I thought Kraquante was the interesting one here, quite impressive when stepped up in trip on her second start she is surely a lot better than her Racing Post Rating of 51. There is some confusion regarding her standing and her price varied wildly on various forecasts for the race. In her favour is a good jockey booked, proven on the ground and the stable batting at 20% this past fortnight 3/15. I feel she is the one with the most scope and 7/1 looks OK. 2.00 Chantilly Kraquante 7/1
afternoon, fellas! fairyhouse,2 05: well,i am usually a bit reluctant to back a horse after a heavy fall, but i ll make an exception with THE VERY MAN here.he jumped well throughout the race last time out, only to crash out at the last.so,if his confidence isnt dented, should make amends today.
fairyhouse,2 35: concertista is the clear form choice here, but i think, this can go to henry de bromheads stable, with TELMESOMETHINGGIRL.the interesting fact is,they won this race last year with the now high-class honeysuckle,so this might be a tip in itself, regarding the confidence behind her.hard to tell, what the form is worth last time out,but shes in very good hands, and gets my vote today.
fakenham,3 10: PULL TOGETHER had a very restricted season last season, offering not much promise in his three chase starts, but on a more positive note, hes not badly treated here, and his maiden hurdle form isnt too bad either.so,if he can revive today, shouldnt be too far away.
Well that was a bit bizarre. The racecard I looked at for the race gave the going as Heavy but according to At The Races the 2.00 Chantilly was run on Fibresand. Hey ho. It seems that ATR were wrong here and hardly for the first time. I was looking at a point to point result on their site and they managed to give two firsts, two seconds and two thirds for the same race and listed 23 runners, despite there being a field of 13. Anyway Kraquante looked to hold a chance but ran as if heavier still would have helped, as she seemed to lack pace. The Beckett favourite was well beaten and the original favourite finished 3rd behind a 25/1 maiden. I was a little disappointed with the selection who was a dour looking 4th and it seemed as if further is required. It was Mick Channon's Milltown Star who won and she trousered, or is that skirted? a decent 38,000 Euris French Racing seems largely to be going down the tubes. It looks a bad state of affairs when a horse who was beaten off 87 in a Nursery last time and who was having it's 10th start of the year, is coming over and landing a Listed class race at Chantilly. Not ATR's finest hour given the error on the surface of the race and their price guide of 6/4 for Kraquante was laughable. Ralph Beckett seemed to be flying not that long ago but he is only 1 winner from his last 20 runners after touching near 40% at one stage.
Theos Charm 2nd Creationist 2nd One of those days. I even backed Lawn Ranger EW 5 places and it came sixth!
Win Patent and treble this evening 6:15 Chelmsford - Zefferino 5/1 6:45 Chelmsford - Glory Of Paris 6/1 7:45 Chelmsford - Amjaady 4/1
i was in at dinner time to see this race , put a couple quid on the rank outsider Osprey Call , at 16/1 , leighton aspell always an eye catching booking imo , plus stable had a big price winner at wolves a few days ago . There was absolutely no pace in this ‘ race ‘ , cantering round in a group for mile and a half , aspell was at the back but made his move before the last turn and stole first run on the rest ,off such a slow pace nothing could quicken and jockey ship won that . Paddy B on the FoB runner up had the consolation of riding the Noel Williams other horse later on , which also won , that’s three out of three for his small stable , they have one running at warwick tommorow Ziggy Rose , byrony is booked ......16/1
