The Chairboys are once again off to Birkenhead to take on the Woollybacks at Prenton Park this time for our 17th league game of the season looking to reclaim top spot in front of the Sky Sports cameras but you will need to have an early or late Sunday lunch with a midday kick off. Gaz has Paul Smyth available after returning from injury midweek Grimmer should be back but this game has to soon for Fred. I have a bit of a dilemma as to where to watch this game should I stay at home with some beers dish up some sausages crisps etc and invite the lad (Blue Soldier) and Slasher round or meet them at the Pub hoping they open up early, either way I will be hoping the lads put in a good performance and return home with a result
I hope JJ plants one of his free kicks in the top corner. My son is a dedicated Man U supporter but also of Wycombe, especially JJ who is one of many we met in the hospitality suite when we played Aston Villa. I've lost count of the number of times I've heard him saying "Right here's a JJ special"
2 goals late in the first half from The Beast and JJ (PEN) give us a deserved 2-0 lead at H/T. Grimmer has been our best player with Kashket close behind. I'm at home drinking cider so i might be wrong
F/T 2-0 to The Chairboys takes us 7 points clear of 3rd place Coventry I've changed my mind on MOTM i'll give it to Darius Charles who was outstanding 2nd half
A very professional performance. We look so solid at the back and big DC look so assured on the ball no wonder Gaz wanted to keep him. We are top of the league. Get in.
I found a streaming site - Stream Watch that i watched the game on on and the picture was bloody good, just don't go to full screen or it gets stuck and you have to turn your computer off to get out of it, the picture is half the size of your screen and that's all you need.
Another good win I've got hold of our secret tactics don't tell anyone the we do the simple things well and work hard for the team and this is the clever bit JJ covers the ball with a special gel when taking throw ins also the Beast covers his head in the same gel and when JJ kicks the ball it is attracted to Bayo's head
Cracks me up reading the bitter and twisted away fans reviews of the game. Don’t they realise that away from home we generally hit on the counter and when we get a lead we sit on it and defend. I’ve read lots of comments from them about how they dominated the second half and were a far better side..... Errr hello! That is because we had a comfortable 2-0 lead and weren’t chasing the game. They had a couple of good players actually. The lad with the blond dreads and the colossus at the back looked decent, but they are hopeless as a unit and one or two good players won’t win them games at this level
Listened to the Tranmere manager on you tube, he was saying we knew exactly what Wycombe would do & his defence let it happen Bayo completely unmarked 2yds out
I am going up to the game tomorrow night, will be my first night game since the play-offs with Plymouth.
