You've clearly put a lot of time and brain power into this subject but are you now going to let this go and talk about other things like on the field issues?
This has been my take although Donald said FPP didnt go forward with the takeover - my thinking is FPP they wanted to go forward with the takeover but with their own staff running the show - somehow Donald has agreed this loan which to me seems like a trial for Donald - if he isnt good enough he and Methven will be binned off when the takeover does occur.
Yes, I said that last night in the finances thread. If he's put the bulk of the money back in and has oversight from FPP that gives him a reason to work solely in the club's best interests over his own, this is a massive turnaround from the position we have been in, where he had deferred most of his own financial obligations to the club indefinitely and we were stagnating across the entire operation as a result. He also deserves massive credit if those things are true, because I actually think it's a 180 from his previous way of working. Hopefully it works out and by acting in good faith for the club, we get better on pitch results and FPP see the benefit of investing properly at some stage. (And I absolutely wouldn't begrudge him making a personal profit in that case!)
