even the war of independence they don't have correct ! it was the British deciding they didn't want to pay taxes for what was going on in America deciding to fight the British that gave them independence , but they like to completely ignore that aspect and think a few American peasants did it with heart alone

Was chatting to my Cousins husband back in the 1990's at one of their places . He was a REAL petrol head .

I Mentioned Nigel Mansell and his success over there in Indy car . He said " He can **** off coming over here winning OUR Championship "

He had nothing to say except need the loo when I said " But it's OK for Michael Andretti to win the F1 Championship ? "

As I said . So incredibly Insular .

I get the place is vast , but would have thought had more interest in the outside world ?

It's based on a true story, which I like. No aliens or monsters in it though, granted.

exactly why I don't like it because it will be largely false and I don't think that events like that should be made like that. I hate cheesy one liners and patriotic bullshit you see. I hate the perfect human being image they ram down your throat in these films ..they never make a film about them shooting all the Indians and stealing their country using guns against knives in the end id love to see that film though. They are a dangerous ants nest over there ..

Enjoy no country for old men. I do find the ending a bit flat though.
