What is the question you are asking? You’re making no sense.
I explained that we will have the freedom to determine our own destiny.
Seriously, if China offered you a trade deal where you paid them money for them to buy less from you than you buy from them. You had to adhere to all the regulations they could think up. You were allowed representation in Beijing but had no real power, AND you had to accept free movement of people.
Would you rip their arms off for it?

Maybe that gives you an idea why we ain’t happy

Yes but it came out after he said that about the French, that in fact a French team had made the planes and missiles operable allowing Argentina to sink our ships.
They repaired 3 faulty missile launchers, and sunk 2 ships as a result.

All oppositions have a track record of avoiding undoing bills they've opposed.

My first dealing with it was in the 1970s when Sir Keith Joseph was running the tories' think tank. They came up with about 15 categories of unemployment, as I recall, most of which they recommended should not be considered in the reported figure. This was adopted by the tories & the unemployment figures plummeted. The Labour opposition were horrified & took great pains to announce alternative monthly unemployment figures that still included the deleted categories. They continued with this right up until they got into power. And then they simply adopted the tory measurements! There have been loads of examples of this sort of thing, with both parties being guilty. Remember how student exam fees were challenged & promised to be abolished when the opposition got into power? Yup, we're still waiting. Remember free dental treatment, eye tests, lower taxes, lower NI? Yup, all changes like these adopted by new governments, yet objected to when in opposition. There have been far fewer examples of opposition parties seeing through their objections when voted into power.

So that's my reasoning, and it's not limited to Labour only. Oppositions simply realise the true cost of reversing most policies they've objected to when they get into power & see the actual numbers, & their impact on their own manifesto.

Sorry, I assumed that was the immigrant group you were referring to. Is there another immigrant group that is entitled to benefits & housing?

Your parents are very lucky. For their sake, I suggest you don't vote tory. It;s only a matter of time.

You still bleating on with this pish?

Quite apart from you laughably making up the ludicrous "but it came out after he said that about the French", are you seriously saying that the Argentinians only had 3 missile launchers, so couldn't sink any ships until these particular launchers were fixed?

You really want to listen to yourself. Christ! Even LL wouldn't be stupid enough to come up with pish like this. And believe me, he really is certifiably stupid.

Just 10 days to go and time is neither metric or imperial so we must be pretty safe with that one.

You're governed by Canberra because you voted for someone to represent you and they work (ha ha) in Canberra. We don't have he choice not to vote for someone who works (ha ha, again) in Canberra.

Don't know exactly if it is still the case, but over here you only have to have one hour's work each week to be classed as employed.

Yes but any country you trade with you agree to follow the regulations in their country when producing goods for that country or bloc or negotiate a deal to align regulations.

As a nation realistically we will have to align with either Europe, USA or China. Which of those three countries or blocs would you be happiest following?

I understand that and it's always been a bug bear of mine that Labour have never gone for electoral reform. However I do think this Labour party would move the Overton window especially on issues like that.

If you think the UK is in a mess trying to sort out brexit, watch the Andrew Neil show today and see David Linden of the SNP blubber his way through how scotland will fare if they get independence and try to join the EU.

He was all over the place. Couldn't answer anything but just kept saying "we've been very clear..." <doh>

Said Scotland wouldn't adopt the euro if it remained in the EU after Independence but would keep the pound (without realising that would mean monetary alignment with England and the English pound.

This SNP rabble really haven't thought this thing through <laugh>

Andrew Neil really knows his stuff and is actually brilliant at tying people in knots, as he did tonight with that twat Labour Shadow Health Secretary re the Labour claim of an extra £500m per week cost to the NHS after any future trade deal with the USA, which is complete bollocks and more Socialist scaremongering.
