Whatever sterling's done him and Gomez were laughing together at training today so I'd expect it's done between them now

Pair of poofs, should have sent them both to the glory hole to settle their differences.

Obviously sterling had a bee in his bonnet cos Gomez swatted him away like a little fly during the city game.

I think Liverpool fans need to let it go

He said he wanted to leave to become a better player and he has...its life

    Leave Raheem alone

England sending their best player home isn’t really a non story, is it?

    Especially over some no mark

If the next game happened to be the WC semi final...who’s getting sent home?

    Exactly <ok>

We don’t know the answer to that question do we? And we don’t really know what’s happened. That’s what makes this interesting.

Players have too much power in the modern game, we all know that. So is it a good thing if the England manager redresses the balance of power? Depends on the circumstances I suppose.

I agree with that...should have sent them both home...no doubt Gomez will have said something. If you’re baiting a pro athlete who is a serial winner you might end up getting lamped...it’s sport...it’s pride.

Gomez should have been sent home too

Seems to me that Gareth has handled it pretty well tbh.

By all accounts though Sterling was the aggressor while Gomez stayed cool and didn't lose his head.

So what...don’t bait the man and you won’t get lamped...it’s simple.

Their on International duty...Gomez should have been professional enough to keep it shut especially since on Sunday they were at each other aswell.

Sterling was the loud aggressor it seems but Gomez was the sly aggressor...they the worst...the silent types...shady bastards.
