Too true not your problem so butt out You should get a job with the EU you are very good at telling others what to do
They are reducing the benefits slowly, making it pay to work, picking fruit is seasonal and we can still bring people in for a few weeks without having to pay them benefits and giving them priority for houses over Brits.
When do you want your truck of gripe water delivering, going to be a lot of griping from you very soon.
So what are the good bits of the EU we're going to take? And what's the crap we're going to ditch? What new deals are we going to make that we can't currently make?
And which liar are we believing this week in Brexitland? Farage that this is now a good deal compared to last week? or Boris let's get Brexit done when we've got at least 3-5 years more of the actual difficult bit
As far as I'm aware, non-EU seasonal workers are not entitled to benefits, and are most certainly not given priority for houses. In fact, they have no entitlement whatsoever. This nonsense is right wing mischief-making. And as far as I can see, it's the disabled that are being targeted for benefits reduction. And it's not slowly. There is absolutely no doubt about that. My wife, as an example, was asked to stand unassisted for 20 seconds. She managed, which is quite a feat for a wheelchair user with her condition (Cerebellar Ataxia). And yet from this, the Government determined that she could walk 200m unassisted & prevented her from getting the mobility allowance she was entitled to. And before you ask, she did appeal, and the person reviewing it determined that it was correct, even though s/he sat behind a desk in another part of the country & had never set eyes on my wife. So much for the piles of evidence we provided from her consultant, GP , Physio, Speech Therapist etc. - the tory 'expert' desk jockey is deemed to know better than medical professionals. End of rant. Perhaps you begin to understand why I hate the fukkin tories. This is not an isolated example, btw - it's the norm. And before you mention it - I fully accept that any future Labour administration (if they ever recover from Corbyn) will change not a bit of it. If someone who's paid taxes all of their life & has full entitlement to benefits is treated in this manner, I seriously doubt that the right wing pish you're espousing is anywhere near close to being accurate. If it is, why would you wish to vote for a party that did treat the unentitled in the manner you suggest?
It's disgusting and fear it will only get worse if they get back in. Genuine question: why do you think a Labour administration would not change it?
Who said non EU seasonal workers, maybe you missed the limit on housing benefit and only being able to claim for 2 kids, it's changing slowly. Both my parents have been on disability and have no problems, why they pick on you I don't know.
A Massive question that would take half the day and all been said before, but continue mainly tarrif free trade, no freedom of movement and we don't have to pay extra tarrif on other trade like NZ meat imports, to keep french farmers happy.
You would accept that tariff free trade will involve accepting EU regulations? New Zealand has the largest tariff-free quota for exporting sheep-meat to the EU (of which most goes to the UK) and it only used 62% of this quota in 2017. So there are no tariffs on any NZ lamb you buy. Freedom of movement will be adjusted but I wouldn't expect too much as politicians from both parties have talked of reducing immigration loudly and publicly whilst privately doing very little (look at Belgium as an example of what an EU nation can do if they really want to curb freedom of movement with in the rules of the EU) as they know the reality of the economic benefits of immigration.
Any connection between being offered a peerage, in the gift of the PM I believe, and deciding to pull all those candidates from tory seats?
No, I wasn't telling anybody what to do merely pointing out that the BREXIT party could be a part of government beyond the actual leaving and you will have them for several years. I also asked what the tangible benefits of leaving would be and so far nobody has been able to point to anything.
