The kissing spine surgery is a major concern. I didn’t see that when researching. Doesn’t mean it won’t win.

That last run suggests that is behind him (oddy I stole your bad jokes) so I’m not concerned about that.

I don’t know if you noticed it but the Blake barn recently got ‘done over’ by a horse with that ‘dreaded’ 3YO allowance in an all-aged handicap hurdle. In a 17 runner contest at Chepstow (on 29 Oct) their representative, Tis Fantastic, beat 15 of his rivals by 13 lengths and upwards but got beat by a 3YO carrying just 10 stone 5 lbs. Must have been highly frustrating to have plotted that out and then get ‘touched off’ by something with that ‘dreaded’ allowance. Going forward one wonders if connections might start swerving handicap hurdles if there is a decent looking one with the ‘dreaded’ allowance contained within – and that would then make it even easier for these 3YO’s to win these events!

The handicapper didn’t miss Tis Fantastic either and has raised him 7 lbs for that runner-up effort. Last week’s superstar though, Devizes, was not to badly treated though crew up just 2 lbs to 54. Should win next time.

    hi fellas!

    huntingdon,12 40:

well, anything that dan skelton sends out is accorded automatic respect, and so does now children.but i think,BOOK OF INVASIONS could be a dangerous rival,if translating his good bumper form to hurdles.his last run was in a hot aintree bumper in april, where he was rather outclassed.big chance.

As today I'm another year older but not necessarily wiser I'm going to back these

1.55 Fairyhouse Dawson's cottage- madden's only one to day
2.40 Huntingdon Dan Gun- Fob bandwagon roles on.
3.40 Huntingdon Hooper - all accounts pedigree to win this
2.30 Hereford War lord -yard doing ok at the moment ( might do Carrick Roads in a double also)
2.50 Lingfield Never Equalled has been smashed up in the betting and goes on the ground.
3.20 Lingfield Britanio Bello another smashed in the betting, had a wind op also.

    Good luck all

yeah I should have laid it off for a free bet but decided to let it roll. Theory being beating the market long term is the way to win. Hmm

    hereford,2 00:

ive a feel, this will be between the top three in the handicap here, namely NEARLY PERFECT,stop the world and carrick roads.but whereas the other two have a bit to prove after their respective comeback efforts, neil kings runner closed last season with a very good effort at uttoxeter, where he was a tad unlucky to get done on the line.so,if fully would up for todays start, should be bang there here.definite e w value.
