I've got my one and only opportunity to play a Turkey trot this Saturday. No pressure there then!!

Salt and pepper and bit of oil, you don't need to add flavour is a lovely meat as it is. Think duck but better.

Only ever cooked duck once. Had a few beers and incinerated it. Was vile.

on the subject of stuff being incinerated where is the master at burning stuff sucky? Chocked only trying to eat the worlds driest pork?

Duck is to be served pink, not as pink as Luvs pink salmon, but still pink.

Basically do as you would with a chicken, score it, few cloves of garlic, etc.

Had pork loin chops, roast potatoes, green bean and carrots, loads of gravy.

    Was very nice.

Bit of a story here; as you know I work away a bit and have been looking to find somewhere for a couple of nights a week as to drive the 65 miles there and back every day would be an absolute ****.
Been staying in this B&B in the back of beyond with **** all but utter darkness for miles around. Single room, so single bed, so not ****ing comfortable.

    Tried Air BnB again.

This time, top floor en suite annex of a house. The house is again lived in but I'm not sharing a bathroom with an old spinster or owt!

Anyway, I drop my bags and go out on a mission as there's an Asda nearby and they apparently have Pudsey onesies that my two little 'uns want for CiN day on friday, I also go check out the local leisure centre to see if there is a squash league and/or decent gym to use. (there's ****ing neither)

I get back and they've cooked me tea!

It was very nice. No glass of wine but you can't have everything.

Am now watching American Made on Netflix and chilling the **** out.
