    Should for any reason we are bought out,re-structured and had to be re-named as a club,what would you prefer?

    ooooh, difficult one, thought of some funny ones, but nothing serious, I believe we were called Leeds City up to 1918, so we can't go back to that...

    AFC Leeds United or something. Just a slightly changed name so we'd still be referred to as 'Leeds United'. Both words in that name are important to me. <ok>

    My initial thoughts were: Leeds **** Bates Warriors FC

    But in reality, I would suggest: Leeds Community FC.

    Could we not just switch 'Association' with 'Athletic' or something? So we'd still be Leeds United AFC, just 'Athletic Football Club'? :emoticon-0138-think

    In answer to your question,I agree with Leeds 18, AFC Leeds United or another slight change so that in the long run we'll still be referred to as Leeds United. Also we need to keep the all-white strip- anything else would be unthinkable.

    Perhaps look at sharing Headingley, with a view to updating the stadium when required. A close connection with the rugby league team and a community spirit is important, I'd want every kid in the West Yorkshire area to support AFC Leeds United and the Leeds Rhinos, with the dream to play for the club. Massive potential and I'd put money into it.

    'Real Leeds' as in the new real leeds after Bates and for the real football fans of Leeds. Plus we play in white and were compared to Real Madrid back in the 70's, when we introduced sock tags and everything else to do with glamour and football.
