I thought they were ok. I wasn’t bowled over by them. Maybe it’s an indication on how well we played as I thought we created better chances, but we just didn’t take them.

Thought we were excellent...just didn't take three golden chances (Grosicki, Irvine, DeWijs). Ref was an incompetent idiot. Honeyman was useless. Putting him in for Stewart was a huge mistake. Burke's head needed a shake...just wasn't in it. Needed De Wijs to bail him out a few times. Lichaj and Elder were very good. Too bad we didn't get the three points..still look good playoff candidates.

I was one of them. Thought about it beforehand and came to the conclusion that I wouldn't sing that chant today.

It's not about respect for them or anything, I just think it would've given the impression that the recent improvements they've made are worth nothing, and I don't think they are. Chanting at them as normal, I think, would have sent the message that we don't give a **** about concessions and positive pricing initiatives and the considerable effort the club has put in over the last few weeks. I also think the last thing the club needs right now is to give the Allams an excuse to throw a hissy fit and take us back to square one.

I don't really know why they thought it was time to come back and I think they're lucky there weren't more widespread chants. I'm happy no one decided to boo your chant because that I feared that would happen before the game.

I thought a good performance, particularly in the 2nd half. I felt we certainly missed Toral, (a real blow him being out for 3 months now) his eye for a pass Irvine just doesn't have in his locker. Pity Evandro wasn't still around as he would fit into that role, though he was another who couldn't keep fit.

We certainly had the best chances and Turbo should have done better in the first half with his. De Wijs was excellent again but should have done better with his chance late on.

Nevertheless to go toe to toe with probably the best side in the league is no mean feat, so hopefully, this set back won't affect confidence too much.

Grant McCann has played a significant part in trying to unite the football club. Bringing the owners back (We know how most people feel about them).

His influence is trying to undo all the **** they did. There is more positivity. It was a better match day experience. They were even giving out free fruit to kids at the match today.

Small steps. Success can only be achieved with everyone pulling in the same direction. Maybe with Terry at the helm we have someone who can drive that. He does seem very astute.

I can't help feeling that others will have tried, but Terry has just hit the time right when they have decided that they have to get the fans back onside. Nevertheless, I do feel that there is no point now in bothering too much with the owners, just get behind the team.

Those who run the club have a huge opportunity coming up in January of making sure the likes of Bowen ect remain at the club . Whilst many still have doubts in terms of trust this one act alone would send out a huge statement of intent and go some way of repairing yet another creaking bridge.

It would be interesting if we can keep near the play off places come January, like you say keeping and adding to the squad would show a real statement of intent and give us a chance. Let's see how the coming weeks go regarding the league table and if we can keep in touch.

So you’ve been singing that song every game up to the one when they’re there?
If that’s the case, and those are the people I’m talking about, then I completely disagree with you.
If you/they really felt that then you should have, according to your reasons, stopped chanting when concessions were reintroduced. That would have been entirely reasonable.
I simply don’t believe that there has been something so fundamental that they have done since the Derby game and before this one that people have changed their view.
So I can only conclude that either people have been singing a chant they don’t agree with, which is pathetic, or they decided not to yesterday to not upset them, which is pathetic.
And yes I did have people telling me to stop chanting (not booing exactly but the same thing) I chose to ignore them until I’d finished but when I asked what had changed since Derby they couldn’t answer.

Schoolboy errors from the manager defending short corners.
They went close from the first one..conceded from the second one.
Against the team who have scored most goals from outside the box in the league this season.

Maybe it was a mistake to be chanting it at the derby game then ?
Personally I don't see why we should be wanting to create a toxic atmosphere in the ground towards our own club. We cannot keep going over old ground and re fighting old battles, what's gone has gone, and there are now signs that some of the wrong decisions are being reversed. Slowly but surely are we now not getting everything we were protesting about ?
The manager obvious wants more unity on and off the field and I dare say Nigel Adkins would have wanted that too because it cannot have been easy managing a team with your home support protesting about the owners. Perhaps we should all give McCann a fair chance at creating that, after all he had nothing to do with our old battles ?
We can never pick who owns the club and I doubt if all of us would ever be in full agreement with everything whoever does finally take over the responsibility does..
I do remember David Lloyd coming to the rescue after we'd been kicked senseless and left in the gutter by a succession of previous owners and he was spouting names changes, ground sharing, FFS I even remember the Hull City Tigers Sharks suggestion and a merger with Hull FC, and some even cheered that suggestion.
That's how desperate we were for change.
It's all relative now in the history of the club, as the Allam's reign will be in time, for they will not be here for ever.
The only thing that remains constant at a club is the fan base, we have seen it all, players, managers, and owners, they have all come and gone, but we are still there.
Every one of them, even every protest, has added to where we are today and what we are.
So, personally whilst respecting everyone who was passionate enough to protest when they thought the fabric of the club was been changed, and I have done it myself over the years when I thought those in charge were not as supportive as we were, is it not time to move on ?

Can I ask why the manager is being credited for the positive changes, is there any evidence that he is the driving force behind it?

Gotta go for it mate because whilst there is some entertainment there is little or no real money in this league apart from getting out of it. Problem is City's squad is always a bad injury or a sale away from mid table.
