At least the Arsenal Women team have more cojones than the men. They are looking strong both domestically and in Europe.

 

Another poor result. Normally wouldn’t be bothered as it’s a europa group game and we will top the group easily. But with such a string of poor results we need to be picking up wins to lift confidence at the club.

When we inevitably get spanked by Leicester in our next game, that’s got to be it for Emery, surely?

 

The 4th consecutive time we've taken the lead and not been able to win the game. Not that we deserved to win mind you, as it was another abject, passionless and garbage display. Against a team 5th in the Portuguese league I may add. It took us 80 minutes to have our first shot on target against this side.

1 win in 6 in all competitions now.

Honestly, this is becoming a recurring theme and I am beyond sick of it.

The players aren't playing for him anymore. The tactics are garbage. Team selections are highly disputable. There is no philosophy. We can't defend - still. We aren't creating unless it's from a set-piece. And we are struggling for goals. There is nothing about Emery or his teams that inspires you.

What are the board waiting for? Get rid now because the longer we leave it, the more time we are wasting to get into the top 4 and play some decent football.

My god, Leicester are going to butcher us this weekend.

 

Also another game where Emery ****s about with tactics, going for a different formation that from Mustafis comments after that game the team didn’t feel comfortable with...

 

Insipid, slow, predictable, lacking creativity, and once again we couldn't defend when we needed to.

Emery badly needs a win against Leicester, but can anybody really see that happening ?

 

it will be a mauling at the weekend. I predict it will be 3-0 or 4-0 to Leicester.

 

One day in the long distant futrure the stars will align and Tierney and Bellerin will both start a Premierleague game together.

 

Almost a delightful goal there.

Fairly even game soo far. Bellerin looking good.

 

The commentry is disgustingly biase towards Leceister.

Does Emery realistically go if we lose this?

I know everyone here would want him to go but do we think the board will pull the trigger?

 

Who knows. He has now lost 3 more games in his first 50 than Wenger did in his last 50.

Surely if that was enough to get a legend sacked - its enough to oust Emery?

Leicester are a good team with lots of harmony and team chemistry driving them forward.

we are not really that good of a footballing side anymore.

I’m not sure which one led more to this predicament.

 

I think that's the top 4 spots secured this season. Everybody else is as **** as each other.

 

Im finally Emery out after this I think.

I was willing to give him til the end of the season, but not anymore.

Results have not been good enough, and another manager would be doing much better with this squad.

 

If he does not go after this run of results, then I dont know. I think it is important the fans start voting with their feet, dont buy any merchandise until this clown is shown the door!

 

I thought we played better today than we have recently but the switch to 3 at the back has been pointless. Emery is too conservative and still messing around with formations.

At least we didn’t look as poor as we have done and hopefully we might start to play a bit better. But the reality is Emery isn’t good enough, the football isn’t good enough and the results aren’t good enough. Sack him now before we drop further.

Emery is worse than Wenger was at his worst. Pointless to stick with someone underperforming like this when we parted with Wenger because he was deemed not good enough anymore.

 

I much preferred it when we were good to watch, tried to dominate games and messed up by being too offensive than this pitiful conservative approach that leaves us with **** results and no good football to watch. Everyone thinks they can try to outplay us now.

We need change now!

There’s two choices - we get an offensive manager who is going to make us a joy to watch again or we get a manager who is more conservative but gets results. A conservative manager who doesn’t get results is just horrendous!

Ok so some will say we were unlucky.. But personally I am finding our play very uninspiring, unexciting and dull.. No real energy, we have a very poor midfield am not enjoying watching us play at all.. Very disappointed with this, unfortunately I would have to say I want a change and possibly see things given to a younger guy who will push, motivate and challenge this team.. we are directionless and clueless...gutted
