The problem is obvious, they've scored 11 all season, the least in the division by 2 goals. They've only let in 19 though, so 9 less than us. All points towards two teams who could easily just cancel each other out, but I'm hoping our attacking force will be too much for them, and we'll score a few with no reply. If any Boro fan reads this, yes, I know I am bias...I'm a football fan. I'll add team news when it is on the official, enjoy those who'll make it to HQ, and... ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
We HAVE to win this game - I'm on a contract working in Stockton til Christmas, surrounded by Boro fans so need a good result so I can dish out some banter come Monday!! U Rrrrrrsssss
The fake news click bait media claim they have 9 out injured/sick/suspended, and have recalled Darlington's top striker back from loan 3 days before their FA Cup tie.
I read that Dave Thomas is signing copies of his book in club shop prior to game.....proceeds to guide dogs association..... A real hero....
My two boys (young men) are going the match. For one it is only his 2nd match LR (saw the 3-2 win against Brentford last season) and the other it is his first visit. So I am hoping for an entertaining match with goals and 3 points to the R’s!!!
was looking forward to my first visit of the season. SW Trains engineering works have put the kibosh on that
Is anyone brave enough to try to predict the team. I guess we will want to play our two main strikers of Hugill and Wells, so it would be a 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 formation. I would guess 3-5-2, however with this formation we played porky away at Leeds. So I wonder what tactics Mark Warburton tactics will deploy? I anticipate that they will be quite high energy and offensive. I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
Barbet out until after the international break BFG is 50:50 I cannot even predict our back 3/4/5 Kelly Rangel, Cameron/Hall/Wallace Manning Eze, Ball, Chair Hugill, Wells OR Kelly Rangel, Hall, Wallace Manning Eze, Ball, Chair, BOS Hugill, Wells I like the look of the 2nd better...but we do seem to play better with 3 at the back
Beth, I agree with you. On paper, I prefer the 4-4-2 formation. Although I would be happier if Eze played more centrally with Chair. But in reality, we do seem more effective with a central back three. We could have a great team in 4-2-3-1, but it means playing only one forward. I will be interested to see what MW chose at 14::00 tomorrow.
Wow! An interesting and adventurous team selection Oslo. I admit that I would like to see Masterson. play.
Ok just putting this out there.... They've only won twice all season, they haven't scored in 4 games, they've a huge injury list....what could possibly go wrong? Hope we make a fast start and blow them away........ C'mon u R's...
They won't be a pushover but with such an injury list we should have too much for them, still can't see a clean sheet though...
They don’t have a bad team on paper at all but confidence is about as low as it can be and the manager is lucky to still be there. If we can’t beat this lot I’ll be very disappointed, especially as I secured some lovely seats at the front of the Upper Loft to witness it.
Nice interview with Dave Thomas on Radio 4 Today programme, and the tale of how his Dad took him to football matches as a youngster in the 1950's in the sidecar of his motorbike, and his mum used to give Dave a hot water bottle for the journey. He was a legend in a legendary QPR team - Enjoy your day back at QPR today, Dave!
