    I remember being reluctant for us to pay the initial £50m quoted for VvD, saying he's not the Messiah.
    Well, he isn't - but he's as near as dammit in our set-up.

    No I dont want Mbappe. Would cost a ridiculous amount in transfer fee and wages that would ruin our model. Add to that he is clearly going Madrid, he strikes me as a player who considers himself a galactico crap and not someone who cares about working hard for his team

    I don't think it would either, but I'd definitely take it.

    Top notch player, only twenty and will potentially be the big start for the next decade? No brainer. He'd encourage others to join us too.

    No. Proven player in our setup vs really good player elsewhere but not proven chemistry with our other players. I'll take the proven player.

    I agree. I think Salah is actually underrated to some extent. He may not be at peak form, but he’s still our best goal scorer and creator.

    I would love Mbappe but in addition to what we have now. Unfortunately we will be priced out of any deal. That’s why I think Sancho is the one we’ll end up getting next summer ...

    Klopp is the last one to be influenced by star status or individual talent. He will go for whoever he thinks fits into his system, and he hasn't been far wrong as yet.

    No. I want the best players possible but not at the expense of upsetting what we have. Salah fits us and our set up and brings more to the club than just his playing skills, it's intangible.
