It was actually a play on words about Nero fiddling whilst Rome burned - nothing to do with "fiddling"........... I'll have to be less obtuse then - do you think Neilo is just ignoring our problems because he really has no answer?
The Championship's most card-happy referee will officiate Cardiff City against Bristol City Discipline will most definitely need to be kept on the weekend https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport...championships-most-card-happy-referee-3508237
City are amongst the lowest chance creating teams in the division and Famaras suspended for booting a player in the back not once twice but three times!! Who knows what what Lee Johnsons will be doing this week. the usual game plan is fans wont usually know what it will be !!
15:07 Breaking news! LJ on Warnock Unpopular opinion: I quite like Neil Warnock. For a coach like myself, you take the rivalry aside, it’s interesting to pick the brains of any successful manager, and at Championship level if there’s one thing Neil has been it’s successful.
Yes - with the player with the HIGHEST number of assists in the division mainly warming the bench (Eliasson). Doesn’t make sense to me - but what do I know?
Scott Murray on making Cardiff City fans 'livid' with Bristol City derby goal Bristol City legend Scott Murray is having his book serialised by the Bristol Post, this is what he said of what happened after a goal he scored against the Bluebirds at Ninian Park and did the Ayatollah back in 2001. When we stood for the kick-off I was getting all sorts of coins thrown at me, which just made me turn to them and smile. Two minutes later we were on the attack again and I received a pass from Aaron Brown on the edge of the box. I just instinctively hit it and it somehow went under the keeper to put us 2–1 up. I just turned and ran in front of the Cardiff fans who were booing me and throwing all sorts of missiles in my direction. With that I cupped my left hand to my ear laughing and skipping as I went. I think I had about £15 bounce off my head in change; they were absolutely livid. Good ol' Scotty, what a guy.
No need for the metal detector - we've moved on. With our wealth from our two trips to the Prem, we only throw £20 notes now.
I'll have you know that your stuff is made just up the road from me - we'll put a tariff on it when we leave the UK...... For the moment we've had them sharpen the edges of the 50P pieces for our projectiles - they make a cleaner cut..........
Cardiff City v Bristol CityCardiff City are without Danny Ward for the Severnside derby with Bristol City as he starts a three-match ban after being sent off against Birmingham City. Joe Ralls, who scored a hat-trick in last week's 4-2 win over Blues, is a doubt with a groin problem, while Sean Morrison is out with a fractured wrist. Bristol City have a doubt over Josh Brownhill, who suffered a back spasm in the 2-2 draw at Barnsley. Striker Famara Diedhiou sits out the final game of a three-match ban. Neil Warnock's Bluebirds, in 14th, start the weekend eight places below Lee Johnson's Robins in the Championship table - but are only four points behind. Match facts Cardiff City have won 10 of their last 14 league matches against Bristol City. Bristol City have won none of their past nine away league matches against Cardiff since a 2-0 victory in December 2002. Cardiff have won 17 and lost just three of their last 23 home Championship matches, a run stretching back to October 2017. Bristol have won just two of their last 15 league games in Wales, although they won on their most recent visit, to Swansea, in August 2018. Cardiff boss Neil Warnock has not ended on the losing side at home to Bristol City since May 2008 in a Championship play-off semi-final with Crystal Palace. Current Robins boss Lee Johnson featured that day, when they were managed by his father Gary Johnson. Bristol City winger Niclas Eliasson has the most assists in the Championship this season (6), despite starting just three games and playing only 520 minutes.
Maybe - well it's all good forum fodder anyway - fill your boots if you feel the need. Stuff like this is par for the course and no problem - just don't start making aeroplane gestures.
I actually wouldn’t joke about this , but then Maybe I’m old fashioned, what’s your view on the matter Sparky ?. From outside it seems slam dunk he was your player, I can see though if the insurer is saying otherwise you are covering yourselves, but surely from a human point of view you should pay up and then try to get it back. At least that way his family get what they are due.
