Never a red card offence. The ref (read useless tosser) only gave a red when he saw how bad Gomes injury was. Son should rightly have that red card rescinded immediately. The standard of refereeing in the PL is atrocious and the confusion with VAR is just making things worse.
Yep; our next two home games, after Everton. And with Norwich being a midweek game, there's just four days between them. Given that we then end that week away to Newcastle, it's safe to say that that is one massive week for us!
Yep just seen it too again. There are people in the crowd holding theirs mouths, others looking away and a couple of young girls looking visibly distressed. Horrific injury. Even a couple of the players couldn't look.
Supposedly only a dislocation rather than a break. I'm no doctor but I have seen dislocations and breaks when playing sports and dislocations look much worse but aren't as bad in terms of recovery than a full break. All comes down to muscle/ligament damage, hopefully for Gomes' sake it isn't too bad despite looking terrible.

Feels slightly surreal that SA and I were having an (amicable) argument earlier this season as to who would finish higher between us and Leicester. And to be fair, whilst I was in absolutely no doubt that it was Leicester, I never saw them being this good. They are, unquestionably in my view, better than when they won the title. A total delight to watch. And with an excellent chance of qualifying for the CL again.
