Watched the championship highlights from the weekend and good to see Paul Gallagher still performing well now at 35yrs. Same penalty routine and still hitting a mean free kick. Been a long time since Preston were talked of as a contender.

 

Riyad Mahrez has said he wasted 2 years of his career after we refused to sell him after we won the league. He wasnt happy we wouldnt sell him to Arsenal in 2016

He signed a new contract that summer and what have Arsenal done since then? Nothing and he has had his big move and warms the bench more often then not

If Mahrez wanted out then he shouldnt have signed a new contract. But just like Maguire last year was more interested in lining his pockets rather then thinking about what they want long term

 

I guess he thinks playing cup matches and dross in the champions league is career progression...

If he'd gone to Arsenal, he wouldn't have played any CL football, at least he got a seasons worth here.

No Maddison for England again, beginning to wonder if its personal with Southgate now.

 

Southgate said hes "hard to manage", not sure why, then again, given the debacle he made out of Stirling and Gomez, he can't man manage anyway.

He picks players on form, but they still won't start ahead of his favourites, probably why Vardy retired, whats the point in being in better form than Kane just to waste your international break sitting on the bench.

 

I dont get why he went public on the fight. Drop Sterling by all means but just say he has a knock or something. Hasnt helped anyone and made a mountain out a molehill

The Maddison situation is baffling when he keeps playing Mount. Reason is purely because Mount plays for Chelsea

Maddison struggled at times last year to make an impact over 90 mins but since Brendan has come in Maddison has improved that massively and this season I have noticed he is much better defensively

Yes or so I've read. Surprisingly as he was a regular 1st choice for Rodgers at Celtic. Guess he doesn't think he's PL standard. He was injured at the start of the season, IIRC but no where near the squad since.

 

Watford have sacked their manager in charge this month, Flores. Hoped he'd stay on until Wednesday. They've been woeful so hopefully they're not capable of new manager bounce next game.

 

Absolute joke club, how can you be on a 3rd manager by December 1st seriously. He must be rubbing his hands, when he went a couple of months ago I bet he was planning a big holiday with the pay off for Christmas already! Hope we smash them on Wednesday and they go down on probably their 5th manager of the season
