Climate change is a multi billion pound industry where many thousands of people rely on the bullshit, it was politicised in the UK by Thatcher in her quest to destroy the miners, and her distrust of the middle east, after the oil crisis of the 70's, she wanted to promote nuclear energy and it was she who gave the met office the idea of the IPCC with an unlimited amount of cash to do just that, it is a con, and you have been had

 

Climate change is a bit of a ploy really. Changes go around in circles and always have well before recordings...Things change in this world all the time so dont worry about it...

 

How are you all coping with your record rainfalls and flooding? we're doing fine with our record drought and bushfires.

 

Are you suggesting economic activity and the resulting environment conditions are the same today as they were prior to the industrial revolution?

Obviously coal is not a very clean source of fuel or energy, it is not the cause of the bullshit the climate industry are espousing

 

Of course, it is more complicated than just that, but coal has been a major pollutant, source of CO2 and terrible for us all. There are many other causes, just look at the Indian farmers and the fires they just created. The leading, advanced industrialized countries have to continue to lead by example and exert pressure on those countries guilty of the most egregious causes today.

 

What do you base that assertion on? Could be great news for the coal industry here in Queensland.

Well, neither really coal could be a cleaner source but it would probably lead to increased costs and need carbon sequestration technology and storage to be developed a lot more. The linkage between coal use and consequential CO2 emissions and global warming are well researched. The previous linkage between sulphur emissions and acid rain were proven but reduced when flue gas desulphurisation technology was retrofitted to existing coal fired stations.
