I wonder if it means we play players in their positions. Sounds very radical from what we've done in most games.
Nice Saints Youtube video. Le Pod - a new occasional series, with Matt Le Tissier and Rickie Lambert:
Man of the match - Fraser Forster Immobile and Milinkovic-Savic were standouts for Lazio. Forrest had a good game and scored an excellent goal for Celtic. But for providing several top-class saves at vital moments - a bit like he did in the last meeting against the Italians at Celtic Park - the award goes to Forster. Celtic deserved to take something from this game and the Englishman was the man who helped deliver it with a wonderful late save, and several more earlier in the match.
How did we go from making players play better to the point they got noticeably worse when they left, to making players play worse to the point they play noticeably better then they leave
Some goodish players need a bit of TLC to get the best out of them, something that is missing in our current shambles of a set up.
Nice seeing "Immobile" and "Fraser Forster" in a match review without one being a descriptor of the other.
He made the saves that most keepers would normally make, got caught out by an in-swinging corner and just managed to kick it off the line and flapped at a straight forward cross that got cleared off the line. MoM? Happy he has as it puts his price up
https://www.footballfancast.com/pre...-made-clubs-transfer-plan-a-matter-of-urgency Cedric has hinted that he will probably leave Saints when his contract ends. Hardly surprising and can't blame him....shame for fans that we can't transfer out. Definitely the time for him to seek a good move.
PEH joined on 11th July 2016 on a five year deal. for an estimated deal of £12.8m. Cedric contract runs until 30th June 2020.
Quite a good watch. My favourite two players. On 31 mins, Rickie is asked with Hindsight if he regrets his Liverpool move and should he have stayed at Southampton. I won't spoil it, but made me smile. Love Rickie.
*Things not going well at Southampton FC* Time to create another role for a club legend to keep the fans on side for another couple of weeks. Did Matt Le Tiss earlier in the year, lets do Benali and splash a few articles on social media... https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/...tball-club-official-ambassador-francis-benali
Why are people reporting PEHs contract runs out next summer? Poor journalism. He signed a 5 year deal in 2016, taking him through till 2021.
Jaidi joins on a 12-month secondment from English Premier League side Southampton, where he is coach of the under-23 side.
