I don't know who to support. I just initially thought southern brave but have more allegiances with London spirit or oval invincibles. Plenty of time to decide.

Really pleased with the signing. Could turn out to be our best overseas signing for some time, particularly with him being available for the whole Championship season. The dual recruitment of Lyon and the Somerset head groundsman could be inspired, should we choose to go down the obvious path there.
Delighted we've got Lyon. Spin was definitely the area where Essex and Somerset had a big advantage over us. Not any more.
Meanwhile Yorkshire have signed Malan. Middlesex´s loss and Yorkshire´s gain. Hope it works out for him.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/50342584 England levelled T20 series v NZ, after winning by 76 runs.
Somerset to start next season on -12 (with a further 12 point deduction suspended for two years). Their pitch vs Essex was the final straw for the ECB.
If Somerset start on -12, perhaps Middlesex should start on -112 for producing such dismal cricket for the best part of 20 years, and rarely if ever playing a spinner deemed worthy of the term.
Yes a bit OTT perhaps . Just listened to his interview after yesterdays play in New Zeland . Totally un-inspiring IMHO .
Thanks. What I heard on the World Service was that it was a rather uninspiring day all told on a slow, rather lifeless pitch thus negating the pace of Archer. We might have a Test match that is a rarity these days. A draw.
