Go with a strong team or play the reserves?

I'm ambivalent about it. Play the reserves and get gubbed and we have to suffer the humiliation and the headlines.

Then again, we've got so many games just now it might be a good idea to rest quite a few.

I would bring back Majstorovic. Maybe being dropped for a couple of games will hopefully be the wake up call he needs. He had maybe fallen into the trap of thinking he was a first pick. Commons needs games and Bangura should start.

    Would rest Hooper and Ki.

    Team:

    Forster

    Wilson - Majstorovic - Wilson - Matthews

    Forrest - Ledley - Wanyama - Commons

    Bangura - Stokes

Get the ball to Forrest as much as possible. He's been in good form of late.

What if you play your best team and get gubbed?

Then I think for the first time Lennon would come under real pressure for purely footballing reasons.

collum sent off 2 of my mates along with another player for lenzie youth club in the lenzie tournament final years ago. 1 of the red cards was for foul and abusive language. he sent off the wrong player because he had his back to the person who swore at him. sound familiar?

    Purely footballing reasons????

What about Ross County last year?, Braga and Utrecht?, The cup final v Rangers, and even Sundays game.
Face it many of your fans have wanted him out long before now, not just because I dislike him but I don't see why some fans rate him as a manager

We have to play a competitive team, that will at least try for 90mins.
Wanyama is in Lennon's eyes a centre defender, so I would put him in instead
of big Dan. Matthews right back. I would give a run to a young player in midfield, as we need to be brining
players through. I think i would rather player Hooper for the first half at least with our new striker.
As they are more likely to be a partnership than the Bangura and Stokes.

As per usual CapitalCalatron, you misunderstand my point.

He was not put under pressure for those games because of the circumstances. The game against Ross County came very early in his campaign as manager in which he still had a team full of Mowbray's signings. The games in Europe came very early in the season while he was still trying to sign players and put a team together.

The situation is very similar to McCoist after his team's defeats in the CL and Europa League.

Whatever your point is Toby , he has been under pressure.
Your own fans and media doubting you is pressure which has happened before, and now it's worse with Commons, Stokes and Brown voicing concerns and such.

Its great to find that the Rangers fans, showing concern for Celtic and their manager.
It makes such a change from last season.
Maybe some Rangers fans are humans.

  17. When did Commons, Stokes and Brown voice concerns about Lennon?

I've had it with these tits today.

They take misinterpretation of re-told half-truths they tell each other to new heights.

You can take Calvin out of Switzerland, but you can't take the Calvinist out of a bluenose <doh><inabadmood>

Big Dan needs to play as Loovens is ****ing awful..........as for Bangura <doh> How **** was he <laugh>

Commons must start, he needs games to get back fit & find his form. McCourt could be dangerous against these & Forrest too should be in with a shout. Stick Ledley alongside them and you have a midfield.

Stokes must start, few goals hopefully will let Lenny know he must start the big games.

Couldn't give a **** who else plays, all as **** as each other.

As long as Samaras doesnt play i dont care who else does

I actually thought Loovens was one of a few (in fact maybe the only one) to get any pass marks on Sunday

Id also play matthews from now on at right back

I like wilson - i have a lot of time for him, but **** me the **** is slow

I agree. I thought Loovens did okay on Sunday. K Wilson had a bit of a nightmare but he's not the first to do so in an OF game. Ditto the Moroccan.

Frankly, if I had my way the only time Samaras would get a game is if Hooper, Stokes and Bangura were all injured. Even then I'd be tempted to start with Forrest and/or McCourt up front ahead of him.
