Had he not hit the defender, the keeper could have saved it with his eyes shut and both hands tied behind his back.

Had his best 45 minutes of the season in the first half. In other news, Kyle Walker is in goal for Citeh :)

  4. Massive credit to Poch for lifting the lads to this kind of performance away from home.

Skipp in the book. Went in quite hard and you can't really do that in Europe.

Baokye having to be helped off the pitch after that Skipp foul. Red Star down to 9 men for the last few seconds.

Good win but let’s be honest. Red Star are league one standard these days.

4-0 FT. Excellent result and a very good performance.
It was less Red Star and more Crvena Zvezda, but not many teams go to that ground and win, let alone easily.
No Alderweireld, Vertonghen or Aurier and we keep a clean sheet and win comfortably. Good stuff. <ok>

Hoddle more or less saying we should now play the same team for the weekend.

We said this last time we played Red Star, Glenn... Here’s hoping Poch listens this time.

It's the best looking team we have fielded this season.

Really good result at a tough venue against a side that looked handy going forward even in the 5-0.

Having GLC and Ndombele on the pitch as much as possible is key to us getting back our rhythm and form. The others who have been so poor(Toby, Jan, Eriksen, etc) will pick up form again too if they want to stay but the most important thing is getting a team that works in the short term.
