I’m relieved, it was traumatic as a young supporter getting that record. At least we were away to the best side in the country. A home defeat to Leicester (even a very good Leicester) would be harder to swallow.
I am really enjoying what Leicester are doing. They have visionaries at the top of the club and another fantastic group of players and are creating their own history. There are certainly echoes of our own history.
A link between the two record breakers, the two winning keepers were father and son Peter and Kasper!
I have got to say two of my favourite players. Peter was the best ‘keeper in the world at the time for me and Kasper has not been daunted by his following in his footsteps even though he has a height disadvantage with some of the other ‘keepers these days.
People remember where they were at important points of history. I remember where I was when we lost 9-0
go the Southampton site & read the match day thread collapse into melt down. almost as good as the ones on the Leeds board.
I was listening to the commentary on the radio sitting in my car in Margate the missus pleading with me to turn it off.It was transfixing in a car crash way!
I was working for a betting shop in archway. Everyone knew who I supported, 1/2 the district where I worked, phoned me to let me know the score
I hadn't realised this, but there is something rather poetic about Angus Gunn having been in the Saints goal. He wasn't even born in 1995!
Poetry doesn't need to rhyme: I hadn't realised this But there is something rather poetic About Angus Gunn having been in the Saints goal He wasn't even born in 1995!
