We're copying Spain by the looks of it. The results over there are truly meaningless until senior level. Look at the big teams' reserves, sat in a league they can never be promoted from.

I think overall it's the way forward. The win at all costs mantra encouraged an awful attitude within parents watching over here. It was embarrassing some of the punch ups and arguments that went on between grown men. Some of the stick our players would get as well, mostly from parents of a teammate, was confidence shattering looking back.

I think reserves is where you draw the line though, they can't be flung in to prem matches without once being trained that results matter.
