    This is a typical RTG knee jerk bed wetting thread that has no foundation to keep responding and commenting on (even though I am this one time). It was a defeat in the EFL Trophy which truthfully speaking none of us want to be in and will also tell Parkinson a lot about the players who had a chance last night. move on

    I don't think Parky will be too bothered about the result.
    The fact that some of the some of the players didn't step up and put themselves in line for a recall would be concerning.
    Hopefully he can offload McGeouch and a couple of others in Jan, and bring in some more dynamic players.
    Not easy in Jan. but if we're serious about getting promoted we need to do all we can.

    There's always the option of paying off contracts now we've got the money to do so. We could get players in, go over the wage budget, try until the last minute of the window to flog unwanted players and then pay anyone left off.
