Not F****** Likely! So glad I was brought up watching FOOTBALL at Boothferry Park rather than this rubbish. Call this football? No wonder this hasn't been taken up elsewhere in the world. I've tried to appreciate it but really?!!!! Bring on WBA - or any other football playing team. Good on ya Fulham for playing a sport and not prancing around like motorbike couriers waiting to deliver. So looking forward to proper sport on Saturday at The KC.
I really liked NFL when it was on C4. Lost touch when it stopped though. Didn't clash with City either, unless we did a Massey weekend stay in Torquay.
It's just another sport, some will like it, some won't. I like footie, cricket, RL, RU, snooker, tennis, athletics, and a few others. Not keen on NFL, darts, bowls, horse racing, cycling and a few others. Nothing to get worked up about. Go have a lie down.
32 countries have American Football leagues, including the UK, there's even a team in Hull (Humber Warhawks). Personally, I don't like it either, but it's obviously very popular, they can sell out Wembley for every game. If we're starting threads on random things we don't like, I'm going with mushrooms, the slimey mud flavoured ****e.
I reckon there should be a thread like a bucket list, only for things you don't give a **** if you never do. It could be called "the **** it list".
Humber Warhawks?!! Don't you realise 'Hull Tigers' is just the start of the b******s that may come (less so over the last month)? VAR etc, etc. Give me the EFL on a Saturday afternoon anytime. Each to their own but keep it seperate from my sport.
I love my NFL. Been a Packers fan since the mid-80s, and they are the only non-Hull/Yorkshire/England team I genuinely give a toss about. I go to a London game most years and believe me, the demand for tickets and attendance levels are very impressive. I think you have to see it live to fully appreciate the speed, skill and tactics on show too (cricket is very much like that). Save for netball/basketball, there's not a team sport I don't enjoy. Different strokes and all that though. That said, there's no way that the NFL is as good as mushrooms. Particularly on a pizza.
All three games last year were effectively sell-outs, with the highest attendance being 85,870, the attendance at the weekend was 84,771.
