Geez....Just seen it. I understand it is a dislocated fractured ankle...Career ender.

Very good player. I'd be surprised, but very delighted to see him back in any form of football, anywhere.

Son is not a dirty player, not by a long way. I also worry how he will come back from this.

He could do worse than talk to Gary Cahill.

Yes it will be difficult for son but the best thing for him would be to play and get straight into that next game otherwise not playing would only make it more difficult for him. Has for the player hopefully he will get over it and play again. I remember when I was at Grimsby and broke my leg, damaged ankle ligiments and pulled my hamstring all in the same tackle, I was out for ten months but I remember once playing again I went in very hard on my first tackle it was so important psychologically.

A friend had a double knee replacement nine weeks ago and he'd been told it would take him six months to recover and he was able to walk from Fulham to Hammersmith after the match without a problem.

Four weeks ago. A geezer who goes in Woodford gym was wearing a leg brace and hobbling with the aid of two sticks, now the brace has gone and he's sort of walking with one stick. Incredible recovery from knee surgery. Just shows you what can be done with some will power.

Ooooh an excuse for an old joke.

Marvin the hypnotist claimed he could cure the ill, and asked for volunteers from the crowd to come forward. Stammering Stan and Lame Larry were ushered through the crowd, and told to go behind the screen.

Marvin went behind the screen and performed his miracle, and then stepped from the screen, declared he had cured them and summoned Larry to throw his crutches away.

The crutches were duly thrown from behind the screen. Marvin asked Stan to say something, and Stan shouted for all the world to hear..."Lllarry's fffffell oovver"

I would suggest he keeps as far away from Gary Cahill as possible. Ryan Mason can tell him about Cahill.

I wasn't there at Chelsea that night, but apparently you could hear the collision at the other side of the ground..What a sickner.
In the Gomes injury nearly all the crowd who had a view couldn't look and turned away.

No, I think it was a 5.30 kick off or something around that time.

    What, go for a header?

Technically every header is dangerous and reckless no matter where or when it happens.
