Match Day Thread England v South Africa

I always want England to win, even at cricket which doesn’t interest me, but when were England playing NZ at rugby league?
Good coming from someone who decides to live in the RU heartland.

 

the sad fact is that South Africa imposed their game plan early on the game, and tbh despite a spirited start to the second half they were stronger and more disciplined then our lot, you could see the panic from our players at times throwing wild passes and being unable to stem the physicality of them. They had a game plan which worked against us, we ran out of answers so credit to them. We have a great nucleus of young players moving forward, so get another decent coach in and push on for the future, many of those players who took the field today have the opportunity to play in another world cup and potential final. But credit goes to SA, deserved the win today and good luck to them.

I am moaning at a silly **** rejoicing in the fact the England rugby union team got beat and who is thick enough to say I would have wanted the England RL team to lose to New Zealand when they weren’t playing them.

His original post wasn’t in response to one of mine. It was a post he just made responding to no one and aimed at no one in particular. He was just being a ****. Probably due to the fact it was union and rugby league is what ‘Ull folk should love, demonstrating the insular parochialism which holds the city back.
You are making inaccurate suppositions.

 

He likes rugby league
You and others constantly dig away at it.

Evans was happy that an England team was beaten by a SA team. It wasn't a joke, or banter. It was a bit pathetic to be fair, but each to their own.

I have no interest in either Rugby codes, but can't understand that sort of mentality. Its the same sort of attitude as supporing Hull FC and Liverpool, and glorying in City losing.

 

Oh well !! if theres a complete lack of sense of humour kicking around I will let you all to your own devices !

 

Anyone who wants their own national team to lose is a tool, regardless of sport.
