Yes as he plays for us. The fat man is now past it and unemployed.

    Get the same buzz.
Got the impression Ben Arfa knew what he was doing more.
Loving Saint Maximin though, especially yesterday, seems like every time he gets the ball he runs at people.
Maximin looks more of a unit than HBA but in a better way

I think Arfa was quite obviously a talented player from day one, so I was always super excited (and a little cautious) when he was on the team sheet.

ASM gets me interested when he's on a run, but until he scores a few I'll not be excited.

HBA was a more skilful player. Some of the goals he scored were superb. ASM is a much more likeable player though and has plent of skill. He's probably more akin to Gutierrez but even then it's not an exact comparison, they're just different players.

He's a better human being for sure, Hatem looks like he has a permanent strop on.

I bet he's the boring twat every office has, complains about every single potential change and gets annoyed when asked to work a bit harder.

    Asm or Hba.

I have Ben Rafa on my toon top from that season and he was a class player. Albeit a ****er and a proper waste of talent.

Asm seems a more professional type and this if he clicks for us he will be sold to a top team. Either way I guess we win.

he has more about him than Almiron. He just looks like thauvin.

I suspect HBA was also heavily involved with food banks as well ..... but mostly on the withdrawals side.

I think HBA was more exciting personally. If ASM can start banging in some long rage efforts and finishing his 1v1's then possibly they'd be at the same level for me but I think we can all agree HBA would have slotted those 2 chances away at the weekend.

The similarities in their dribbling and the excitement they bring to the place when they get on the ball is the same though, as soon as ASM gets the ball you can hear the intake of breath in anticipation of whats about to happen and the noise of bums sliding to the edge of the seat. When he scores the place is going to go ****ing nuts because you can almost guarantee it won't be a tap in, either a long range drive in to the top bins or a mazey dribble and slotting it into a corner.

Ben Arfa had a big bust up with Bruce at Hull. He basically said he's talented but a lazy fat ****. I think that could be said about both of them though <laugh>

Arfa saw his ass and never came back to England. So I believe the chances of a return are slim.

Is that one season max or do you think he will definitely stay the full season?
